Pros: Could possibly support 8 serial ports

Cons: Does not support Windows 7 and definitely not Windows 7 x64. The product listing does not specify Windows 7 and you can be dumb like me and assume anything you buy in this day does support Win7 but this card does now.

Pros: Eight high speed PCI UARTS. If you are trying to write software to talk to industrial control devices such as gauges, PLC's, PAC's, RTU's etc. this is the card you want. We are developing a program which monitors a set of rs-232 vacuum gauges and were using a cheap card which had two PCI UARTS and four ISA UARTS. It was nothing but a headache. This card solved many problems we were having.

Cons: None.
