Cons: Have had 2 of these die on me in the past 2 years. Now, these two deaths I can trace to brownouts that we had in our area so I can't really blame the extender. However, I run a mixed environment where about half of our displays are using a similar product from NTI and I haven't lost a single one of those... Other Thoughts: I'm currently using about 10 of these in a 24/7 environment running promotional content on commercial displays. All displays are running content at 1024x768 resolution at distances up to 300 ft over Cat5E cabling. No issues with display quality at all even at the longer distances.
