This review is from: StarTech Model MDP2VGAMM6 6 ft Mini DisplayPort to VGA Cable Pros: If you need to get a signal from a Mini-Display Port to a regular RGB connection then this is the cable for you. I was getting washed out colors from my HDMI cable when I set my native 720p TV to 1920x1080. With this cable I'm not using any adapters and now I have my colors back at full 1080p. Cons: Cable feels very light and flimsy. While it may be structurally sound, I would prefer something that feels sturdy for $40.00. Other than than that, no issues what-so-ever. It isn't quite as sharp as the HDMI was, but for full 1080p and good looking colors I'll take the hit in clarity. Other Thoughts: Pretty expensive for a video cable, but I guess you can do that when you're the only one offering this specific cable on New Egg. Did you find this review helpful?
