Pros: As advertised. Converted my cable box HDMI to DisplayPort on my P.I.P. Asus monitor. Great item.

Cons: Runs hot.

Pros: it has nice LED lights

Cons: It just doesnt work as advertised....HDMI 2 DisplayPort

Other Thoughts: Bought this for a HP laptop with HDMI to connect a HP monitor with DP.
and it just didnt work

Pros: I have a brand new 21.5" monitor that has a displayport only input, however my laptop has a hdmi output. This adapter is supposed to convert the signal and it does not. therefore there aren't any pros to this adapter unless me having to buy a imac is considered a pro.(mac's can convert to a dp)

Cons: it doesn't work at all and i have to keep paying return shipping for the item, well this was the last time.

Other Thoughts: newegg should actually test this item themselves and see that it doesnt work.
