The HMPEXADP Half-size to Full-size Mini PCI Express (PCIe) Adapter allows for almost any standard half-length PCIe Mini Card to be mounted into a system that only accepts standard full-length cards.

For those applications, this card works great! It is a high-quality card, and the construction is solid. Cons: Will NOT fit in many laptops or netbooks due to clearance issues. It increases the HEIGHT of the card, as well as the length. Other Thoughts: Most people reading this will be better off using something called a PCIe Mini Card Bracket. Cons: My new 6300n technically fit the adapter but the mounting posts were too big and the electrical pins were too loose. So its in there, but barely hanging on. Cons: I dont know how well your laptop can handle the card and you will need a mini pci express or a pciexpress extension cable Other Thoughts: used for NAS hosting on my network and with my dell laditude e6400 it will get 1gp/s transfer rate 1 out of 4 people found this review helpful.
