5 out of 5 eggsGreat forAmateur Radio use

Pros: I installed this card and it worked just fine from the stat, you have to make sure it's seated! I run some legacy serial HAM radio hardware (Kantronics TNCs, and KENWOOD computer remote control of transceivers) It woks great. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Cons: I have not run into any CONs so far, has worked flawlessly!

Other Thoughts: This card has enabled me to operate modes that I really enjoy, and the solid performance makes operation a pleasure!

1 out of 5 eggsGoing back

Pros: Was cheap

Cons: Doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: Driver disk refuses to install drivers. Chipset manufacturers website even worse. Got it to work once. After reboot, disappeared again and refused to re-install. Win 7 64bit doesn't recognize it. Sending it back.

2 out of 5 eggsIssues with Windows 7

Pros: Helps your use up that more than likely empty PCI slot.

Cons: Doesn't seem to work with devices connected.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to connect my Dex Drive to backup old PS1 and N64 saves. Neither device was detected whenever connected to the expansion card. Yes, the computer was off and the devices were turned on prior to device installation.

3 out of 5 eggsGood hardware

Pros: Its works, much needed dual port with the hardware that I am connecting to it.

Cons: welll......not now

Other Thoughts: It took some playing with to have my MB function properly with it. My ASUS MA79XTD EVO would not boot/psot when I first installed it in a particular pci slot. Had to pull the cmos jumper, all is good now.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it should

Pros: Install was easy, drivers downloaded automatically on Windows 7.

Has been uploading my LaCrosse 2310 weather station data flawlessly since I hooked it up a week ago. Plan on using the other port for an oldschool TNC once I get my radio equipment back up and running.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work

Pros: None

Cons: I'm trying to run a older vinyl plotter on my new system using a serial port. But you don't have the option to change the IRQ setting on the serial port because it sets itself upon installation. I can't get it to work with my older machine. I'll just have to buy a serial to usb adapter now. I borrowed one so I know it will work..... very dissapointed
