I ran a Wii, a PS2, a DVD player and a VCR through it. Cons: After about a month, it stopped working. It blurred all the inputs together into one and the buttons didn't do anything. No external power required. Cons: It can be switched only before device power up. Throughput is NOT assured. Signal throughput is often noisy, broken, and intermittent. After many combinations of equipments and cabling, I was unable to acceptably connect any device if it connects at all. Other Thoughts: Go for any other powered unit. We were so tired of reaching behind the big TV (we still have the old box style) and plugging / unplugging a few times a day, the cords, for the Wii, VCR (yes, we still have that too!), and the DVD player. This took care of that nuisance! So easy to install! My 4 year old is easily able to switch between the Wii and Cable all by him self now! SWEET! I labeled (in permanent marker on the silver buttons) Wii, VCR & DVD, so we know which is which. Cons: None at all! 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you? Cons: A little light, the box will slide around when trying to push the butttons.
