1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work on my system

Pros: It looks nice in the package. That's all I can say since it doesn't work.

Cons: No documentation. No Pin Schematics to ensure I am matching to my motherboard headers correctly.

When I install this, it shorts out my motherboard, resets the BIOS to factory defaults. IE, doesn't work.

Because there is no documentation and I cannot find any documentation online, I don't know if the part is defective or if the pins are wrong / maybe I'm plugging it in wrong. I am treating the Red pin as the +5V Pin 1, which matches the direction I'm trying to plug into my mother board. Disappointing.

Other Thoughts: My Motherboard is an ASUS A88XM-A. I bought this to give me an extra couple USB ports but whatever. It would have been nice to have but not absolutely necessary, just trying to use all the USB headers on the board since there's never enough USB ports.

4 out of 5 eggs does its job

Pros: Gives 2 extra usb 2.0 ports

Cons: The screws holding the plugs to the bracket are loose on mine and are hard to tighten because of the nut on the back. My case I had to bend the tab at the end of the bracket to keep the adapter from moving around while I was plugging stuff into it

Other Thoughts: It does what it's supposed to and is pretty pricy for what it is.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: It works. Not much to say.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The cables aren't terribly long. For me they're the right length, so no cable management needed. :)

4 out of 5 eggsIt's a USB Adapter

Pros: Gave me 2 extra USBs from my extra USB header, fairly easy to install (a bit of a problem for people with big fingers, see bottom)

Cons: Cable length could be longer, and a bit pricey ($7 + $1 shipping), and the motherboard headers are split, which makes it harder for people like me (big fingers).

Other Thoughts: Otherwise, it does what it does. Simple, and despite the price, still cheaper than other solutions.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed for my Motherboard

Pros: Quickly add two usb ports to the back of the tower.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My motherboard only had 2 usb ports on the back and as luck would have it, I had 4 peripherals to connect. Fortunately I found this adapter which solved that problem. I'm glad adapters like this exist.

4 out of 5 eggsJust a great product

Pros: My motherboard had a couple extra USB headers and this is the perfect thing to get some use out of them! Not much else to say. It does look like the USB ports could be removed from the slot plate easily and custom mounted elsewhere if wanted.

Cons: No real issues... Cables could be a tad longer so be sure to measure the distance from your headers to where the plate is going to mount!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: works perfectly to add some usb ports to my home theater pc

Cons: socket that connects to motherboard headers is split, not one piece, doesn't affect operation, but it makes installation a little more annoying

Other Thoughts: wish they made a version of these with 4 usb ports instead of just 2
