3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Internal pin header

Cons: The box of this thing is like so cheap
The details of this item is somewhat vague the pci slot is somewhat big and not compatible with any latest motherboard. I believed that this model is for older version of pci slot

4 out of 5 eggsMy 2 Cents

Pros: Has USB Header for Front Panel Connectors, Allowing you to add Card Readers to proprietary computers with no USB headers, or if you need another USB header.

Cons: Did not come with a Driver CD. So I had to hunt for the drivers on .
1 Egg off for Missing Driver CD.

Other Thoughts: This card DOES work with Windows 7 32bit. Site says it works with both 32 & 64, but I have no tested it with Windows 7 64 yet as graphics cards are blocking my only PCI slot on the Windows 64 machine.

from the Koutech Systems Web site:
Supports Windows 98/98SE/Me/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/Server 2008/Windows 7 (*1)
*1 Supports for both 32-bit & 64-bit OSes

5 out of 5 eggsUSB 2.0 Add in card with USB header

Pros: This card adds two USB ports to the rear of the case and more importantly, it adds a front panel USB connector. It has a standard 9 pin USB header available.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This card allowed me to add a Rosewill front panel USB port/card reader to an OEM brand computer that had proprietary non standard motherboard USB headers.

1 out of 5 eggsDOES NOT WORK WITH Windows 7

Pros: Works with XP

Cons: Since most computers sold today are Windows 7, this card is worthless.

Other Thoughts: Newegg refunded the price of the card, but not the freight. Buy the Rosewill RC-100 instead.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the time or money

Pros: The only Pro about this item was that it had a USB pinout/header on it, but there were no other pros about this item.

Cons: It only worked for a week or so, and then died. Also, it doesn't work very well with Windows 7. Don't waste your time or money.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's all about the USB header.

Pros: It's all about the internal USB header pins. Works like it should. I needed that extra header for my media card reader device because my other 2 motherboard headers were in use. This solved the problem. Decent price.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wish they would make a pci card with only the usb header(s). I didn't need the extra usb ports. Or if there could be a USB splitter wire for the header on the mother board.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, lasts a long time

Pros: ++ Internal USB pin header!
+ VIA chipset was automatically detected and configured by Win Vista 32 bit
+ Very low profile card

Cons: - only 2 external USB ports on back of card
- no driver disc, if automatic detection fails you must DL drivers

Other Thoughts: My mATX motherboard only has 1 internal USB pin header which works great for the front panel USB ports on the case, but when I got a Rosewill internal media card reader I needed another USB pin header. This was one of the only cards I could find with an internal USB pin header!

The added bonus came in the form of it being a low profile card. Being mATX I had to install this into the PCI slot right next to the graphics card. This USB card hardly blocks the GPU fan at all, so cooling shouldn't be impacted.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for what I need

Pros: Only reason I purchased this was for the internal pinout header on the card for a USB device. My motherboard only came with 1 so I needed a 2nd one for a multi-card reader I had.

Cons: cant really list any because it works for the only thing I use it for.

1 out of 5 eggsInexpensive but tempermental

Pros: Inexpensive. Internal header. Easy install & setup.

Cons: Worked with no problems for about a week. Had cardreaders connected to internal header and USB mouse in external slot. Then cardreader and mouse dead. When I rebooted, my boot time went from about 20 seconds to about 2 minutes. Everything worked fine for about an hour, then nothing again. Rebooted multiple times, same result.

Other Thoughts: Read the negative reviews to see issues seemed to be with Windows7. Thought it might be OK with my Vista Business system. First upgrade card that I've used that does this. This thing isn't even worth returning. You get what you pay for, but it was worth a shot. I can't fault Newegg for this. I know they'd take it back, but not worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsKoutech USB 2.0 PCI (2 x Ext+2 x Int Header-pin) Model IO-PU222

Pros: Works as advertised, Running on windows XP x32. I think I had issues with Windows 7 x32 but was my fault i think.

Cons: My fault at first, but I though this card was only USB 1.1 even though its advertised as 2.0. It seems it is 2.0 but you need to go to device manager and upgrade drivers for this card and let device manager search the disc that came with this card. It found VIA USB 2.0 Drivers on the disc and then seems now I have USB 2.0 speed.

Other Thoughts: Usually USB 2.0 works out of the box.. but seems i needed the cd that came with this for the VIA 2.0 Drivers for WinXP. You may need the CD for Windows 7 also... this card is a little weird on not auto configuring USB 2.0 without the drivers but IT JUST WORKS GREAT! Once set up properly.
