5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: It works great.

Cons: Definitely was a bit of overkill on the packaging.

4 out of 5 eggsnifty piece of hardware

Pros: Works as intended. When you need to boot off a USB stick and wants to keep it inside the chassis, this is an alternative for boards that lack internal USB slot

Cons: the design is a little flimsy, when I installed it I feared for if one of the soldered L shaped pins would snap. But it didn't.

Other Thoughts: It would be cool to have a better packaging so when you install the hardware you don't exert force on the L shaped pins. Waiting for that on the next version.

5 out of 5 eggsKoutech USB 2.0 Header-Pin to Dual Type-A adapter Model IO-UU220 - N82E16815201028

Pros: I ordered this on 10/27/2013 and it got here about 2 days later. Typical NewEgg Shipping! Can't complain about that!

I got this for use in a NEW Server I'm building for use as a BOOT Device in order to save my SATA Connectors for ALL my HD's. This makes the 2nd one of these devices (the other one is made by someone else) that I've used in the past and I have to say that they BOTH work great!

The thing that I like about them is that it allows me to hook up a USB 1.0 OR 2.0 Device internally without using ANY unsightly cable connections running out the back that could possibly get caught up on something and ruin the MotherBoard OR something else.

Plus this device is a fairly good security device. Some people will be looking for an HD as the BOOT HD and won't figure out HOW the system boots up unless they know WHAT they're looking at or for. So far I've shown this device to 6 different people and NONE of them knew WHAT it was OR what it does. To me this is an added bonus.

+ Cheap - $7.99

+ Small - Less than an inch long and 1/2" wide.

+ Versatile - You can use it for a Flash Drive or a USB HD or whatever.

Cons: The box it comes in is at LEAST 10 times bigger than the item it contains. Go figure... Other than that I have NO complaints. So NO Eggs taken off for anything!

Other Thoughts: Why they didn't use a SMALLER Package to ship it in, I'll never know. They probably would have saved SOME money there. Go figure...

It's a great product that's VERY versatile! Buy one!!!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks exactly as advertised

Pros: Works exactly as advertised
Adds 2 internal ports
Rigid - I was worried that it would bend easily and possibly break. Turns out I didn't have to worry about a thing. It is very well made.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsDecent internal USB

Pros: Used to hide a boot USB internally. It works and has spare slot for a Bluetooth adapter.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Because I was not able to mount this directly on the mother board I had to be creative in how it was mounted. I ended up zip tying it down with some rubber between it and the metal of the case in order to keep from shorting it out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little adapter!

Pros: Small, fits easily in a small case. Not much taller than the fanless cpu heatsink on my ASUS boards.

Cons: None that I have encountered.

Other Thoughts: One of the few adapters of its type this thing comes in supper handy for building systems with internal storage that is USB based. I have one of these in each of my FreeNAS boxes that I run on my own personal network. I use the Kingston MicroSD adapter with a 4GB card to store my FreeNAS running images. I don't have to worry about a flash drive hanging off the back of my boxes and this adapter is nice and sort so I don't have to worry about it not fitting in the cases I have. I would definitely recommend this product!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: does what's advertised. cheap. shipping box is real sturdy.

Cons: plugged it into my mobo and had to move some things around. went to remove it and it took my mobo female end with it. suppose that means the connection is real tight but is that necessary....

inconvenient placement of usb out ports. up and down like how its in the picture means you won't get the full 6 if you had 3 mobo headers. the usb cables will interfere with each other when plugged in as you can't use the middle unit.

Other Thoughts: i would have bought a usb2.0 header splitter CABLE but newegg is clever and prices everything to have a minimal impact on shipping. i could have gotten what wanted from other place but this was more convenient. if you have 3 mobo headers, this will add 4 usb out. plenty considering you probably have front panel and rear i/o ports too.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: It works.

Cons: Lots of packaging for such a small item, and it's kind-of expensive for a few dimes worth of parts.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, this has no electronics on it whatsoever. It won't break unless you snap it in half.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works Great. Ideal for FreeNas Nas Box, which is what I've been using it for. I've been using it for over a year now with no problems.

Cons: None come to mind.

Other Thoughts: I was worried about the stick because it doesn't lock in, but that's how motherboards are made. My main concern was that it would come loose or fall out.

However, I've moved twice since the build and it hasn't been a problem at all.
