5 out of 5 eggsworks great !!

Pros: works great , I bought 2 and turned my 2 ports into 8.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: to bad they didn't turn the ports 90 degrees and add 4 more on each card.

1 out of 5 eggsInterface Card Too Short

Pros: None

Cons: The length of the card that fits into the slot is too short so it can't make a connection on my HP desktop. Tried numerous ways to get it to work and finally gave up and returned it.

5 out of 5 eggsVital for USB3 pass through cables

Pros: We bought a Lian LI HTPC Case (PC-C50B) it came with three USB3 plugs on the front of the case the photos didn't show the USB connector style. MB only had room for 2 so picked this up, seemed all poor reviews were due to lack of patience to read full description of the device at hand. Works great and doesn't need to take up a vital PCI slot.

Cons: Ours didn't come with the cable the features said it would so picked one up here with free shipping. And the device runs all 4 plugs off a single USB3 cable so a bit misleading all 4 plugs share the rated 5Gbps speed.

Other Thoughts: disregard all the one egg reviewers up until now they are all bashing a fine product due to lack of their own patience. this is in fact a hub which does imply you have a USB3 controller on you MB.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: na

Cons: USB 3 cord internal would be more useful if it has pin headers for the motherboard. I was one that bought this without realizing it wasn't a controller and only a hub and without the pin headers on the usb 3 i am sending it back.

Other Thoughts: Card looks of quality construction and components.

5 out of 5 eggsRead what it is

Pros: Does everything its supposed to.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Everyone who rated this 1 egg is wrong. It is an internal usb hub not a Host Controller it even says in the description. You need a internal usb port to set this up.

1 out of 5 eggsIncomplete, and a sham.

Pros: Has 4 ports.

Cons: Did NOT include the cable stated in the description.

Other Thoughts: Somewhat misleading that it appears to be a PCI X1 card (even says so) but it is just a port, not a controller. Bottom line--it was missing parts, probably from an earlier return.

1 out of 5 eggsKoutech made it some why...

Pros: Right, geo, it is an INTERNAL USB HUB, so it should have some kind of internal connection (PCI, PCIE, 10-PIN, etc.) It's NOT normal that INTERNAL HUB has only external connection type like your printer, otherwise it's like having portable drive with PCI connection....

Cons: ??

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Does what it says it does. Allows you to add an internal hub to your system with external wires and another power cord.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I hardly think that this PRODUCT deserves one egg just because YOU ALL can't read!!!
How much more do you want NewEgg to clarify that this is a hub more than calling it an "Internal USB Hub"?!?
At least ONE of you took responsibility for not fully reading the description, but still, giving it one egg for YOUR mistake is hardly fair. Write to NewEgg, asking them to add some more information. Ask them to put the word "Hub" in bold face, if you need it, but don't blame Koutech!!!!

1 out of 5 eggsNot a USB 3.0 add on card

Pros: No Pros. Not what I was looking for.

Cons: Like other people I ordered this to add USB 3.0 to my pc. No connection to the motherboard. I'm curious as to how many people bought this looking for USB 3.0 to add to their pc. Keep an eye on the Reviews and we'll see.

Other Thoughts: I'm guessing most everyone who orders this will be looking to add USB 3.0 to their pc. NewEgg might want to clarify this in the description.
