Pros: Works with no device driver drama.

Cons: Someone should tell Koutech that "PEU" has a humorously negative connotation, but only for native English speakers.

Other Thoughts: I am the same person who wrote the "Really Koul-tech" review before (with a handle of "two-PC man"; I must have been drunk when I thought that one up). I wanted to add a few thoughts.

I have Intel motherboards (DH67CL and DH67BL) which already have the same Renesas/NEC UPD720200 chipset as the Koutech PEU235. So all I have to do is install the card and reboot and Windows will find the driver because it is already installed because of the Intel on-board chip.

But there is a possible problem with device drivers. Koutech offers the 2.1.32.0 version of the Renesas driver on its website (I never looked at the one on the cdrom). However, Intel's DH67 boards will not allow the use of that driver; they want to use 2.1.28.0 only. If you are building a system with an Intel board with that chipset, use the 2.1.28.0 driver, not the newer Koutech one. Everything will still run okay.

If your board does not have the Renesas/NEC UPD720200 chipset, ignore the above paragraph and use the newer driver.

Pros: Working flawlessly so far.

Cons: No Known Cons

Pros: Bought this product to add usb 3.0 to the front of my newly bought case and that is exactly what its does. Drivers included with product worked great with windows 7 tested speeds on usb 3.0 device and way faster that 2.0 completely satisfied with this device.

Cons: Only reason I gave it 4 eggs instead of 5 is the connection point is very flimsy, Had to zip tie the cord so it would not fall out of the connection point.

Pros: Works great! Easy install. Just follow the instructions on the green paper it came with. Already had the 3.0 ports for the case front.

Pros: Inserted it into my motherboard, plugged my front USB 3.0 ports into it, installed the drivers in the USB 3.0 Host folder on the CD and it immediately began working! took less than 10 minutes.

Pros: The card did it's job. I plugged it in and installed the drivers that came with it. The card let my usb 3.0 header in the front of my computer work.

Cons: The problem i had with this device led me to not use it. I had recently bought a usb wireless adapter for the computer. After I installed the driver for this device the wireless adapter stopped working upon restarting the computer. The wireless adapter was plugged directly into the motherboard too which led me to wonder why this would interfere. I needed the internet so i just took it out. So overall the card worked but the compatibility led me to not use it.

Pros: Installation is easy enough. However...

Cons: ...Did not provide USB 3.0 service to attached port.

Other Thoughts: As an earlier reviewer mentioned no matter how many times I tried I could not get the card to provide 3.0 service to the attached port. I attempted drivers from the included disk as well as downloading 2 drivers from the manufacturers website. I made several attempts with each to no avail. Each time I plugged in a flash drive I got the popup stating I needed to attach the drive to a 3.0 port for proper speeds. Plugged the drive into the rear-mounted MB 3.0 ports and the drive functioned normally. It was just a "no go".

I am in the process of my first-ever Newegg RMA.

Pros: Installation is easy. Driver disk contains all of the drivers as someone else mentioned. So be sure to use the correct driver. Very small card that works well.

Cons: Not really a con, but because the card is so short, I had to rerun the power cabling within my case (CM storm trooper)to get power to the card. My own fault there for not planning accordingly and wanting all the cabling hidden. If it was a full sized card, I wouldn't have had a problem.

Other Thoughts: I wish pcie slots provided enough power to run these cards, but they don't.

Pros: Easy installation, super-fast read and write speeds, well written instructions that are easy to understand, it was ery well packaged and presented.

Cons: The driver disc has a driver for everything they make so you have to search a little for the right one.

Other Thoughts: The card is connected to ICC connector on my Fractal Define R3 case that leads to one USB 3.0 on the front.
This is my first experience with USB 3.0. I ran some benchmarks on my oldest USB 2.0 flash drive (6 years), and my newest, a Transcend 8GB USB 3.0 flash drive. The new one was over twice as fast as the old one in read speeds, according to ATTO. I'm usung it to grab files and graphics for Dreamweaver and Photoshop for school. I'm a happy camper!

Pros: enabled the USB 3.0 on the front of my NZXT Tempest 410 to work with my AMD ASRock Extreme3 870 motherboard. Just hooked it up to my motherboard, installed drivers and done.

Cons: none, works as advertised
