Cirago DPA2021 Mini DisplayPort to DVI Single Link Active Adapter

Pros: It worked... kind of...

Cons: Seriously, don't waste your money. I run 3 monitors on my system, and my graphics card required one of the 3 hookups to be a micro displayport, so I bought this adaptor. While it does work, barely, the screen constantly flicters on and off for a few seconds every 30 seconds or so.... Very disapointed.

Pros: None at all. Does not work.

Cons: Defective

Other Thoughts: Had to RMA. An expensive and time consuming job.

Pros: Plugged in fine.

Cons: Failed to display anthing on screen when much cheaper non-activre had no problems.

Other Thoughts: A waste of time and money.

Pros: Absolutely none.

Cons: Well, it just doesn't work. Not only does it not work with Eyefinity as advertised, it doesn't work AT ALL. All 3 of the monitors I tried it on say "cannot display this video format". Called customer service and got nothing (left a voice mail). This product does not work as advertised, period. This is beyond having a poor quality product, this company is doing something illegal in their false advertising (packaging says "eyefinity compatable").

Other Thoughts: Newegg, you really need to listen to the reviews and stop selling this piece of garbage. You are wasting money since they will all be returned, plus annoying your customers. No one should buy this. I should have listened to the other reviews. Will now be purchasing the HIS one item# N82E16814999033 for only a few bucks more.

Pros: None

Cons: The display would register, but not catch a video signal, even though the monitor would display during post, although distorted with the pink line. The screws did not catch the threads, either.

Other Thoughts: Not a good start for your first eyefinity project...

Pros: nice design, good price.

Cons: Didn't work. first dvi monitor I tried, just blank no video signal. 2nd dvi monitor I tried had 3 inches of black on the left side of my screen, followed by a vertical pink line , with the remainder of video signal mushed to the right of the screen with an "invalid display resolution" warning from my monitor.

Other Thoughts: When I plugged it into a DVI to HDMI cable into the adapter and ran it to my TV it worked fine, but did not work on any DVI monitors. I tried a single link AND dual link dvi cable in every possible configuration.

perhaps my unit was factory defective as a result from being cheaply made. Also the mounting screws didn't actually catch on any thread in the adapter.

Pros: it's black, nice design.

Cons: I had to get a mini display port to dvi adapter so that I could get my 3 monitors running on my new HD 6870. I was going for HDMI + DVI + miniDP to get all 3 monitors going at once. the 1440 x 900 monitor I was trying to set this up on had vertical pink line across the left side of the screen, leaving off about 3 inches of black. the remaining video signal was mushed to the remaining right %70 of the monitor and an "invalid display mode" error was constantly blinking on my monitor. the Other DVI monitor I tried this on was just completely black, not a flicker. I tried every comprehensible setup with a single link AND with a dual link DVI cable to the same result every time. Mysteriously, It did work properly in 1 mode. (MINI DP > DVI > HDMI) when I plugged it into my TV I did have all 3 monitors up, but I would have to sacrifice sound to the TV and I'm not doing that because of this funky defective adapter, that didn't properly power either of my DVI monitors.

Other Thoughts: Maybe it was a factory defect, and it would have worked had I gotten a different one. Mad I have to return it and try a different one now.
