5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: It works.

Cons: Not all of my VGA cables would screw into this. I think the female ends inside of the case are too far in. But not a big deal...its not like I pull my PC or monitor around a lot, and DisplayPort natively has its own clip to attach to the GPU. I'd rather the VGA come off than rip it from my GPU if it ever was pulled.

Other Thoughts: Just for those who are searching for solutions...
I am using this in a triple monitor setup on an R9 270X GPU: Two VGA and one DVI-D output.

Monitor 1 - DVI-I to VGA
Monitor 2 - DVI-D
Monitor 3 - DisplayPort to VGA

I've heard people asking if VGAs will work in multi-monitor setup...it does, as long as you use this DisplayPort adapter, or one similar (active adapter).

And both of my VGA are 1280x1024, and my center is 1920x1080. Works with standard desktop or with Eyefinity.

1 out of 5 eggsCAUTION! Not sure about this one.

Pros: works kinda sorta

Cons: pretty much unusable for me...

Other Thoughts: I bought this Display Port adapter because I wanted to run 3 monitors. My main monitor is a 28" HDMI monitor. I am currently using a GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 video card, which supports up to 4 monitors. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit). I also have two Sceptre 19" VGA monitors, one on either side of the main monitor. So I am using the HDMI for the main, this leaves one DVI (analog) connector (which is powering one of the 19"), and a "Display Port" connector left to power the 3rd monitor. So does it work? Let me tell you that this has been the most ridiculous (insert vulgar expletive here) nightmare I have been through. I don't know if this is because of the Cirago adapter, or if it's because Windows sucks, or exactly what the cause is but... when I first plug in this adaptor, with the monitor turned on, Windows does see the monitor, and it fires it up. After setting the display properties for the correct resolution, etc., everything seems fine. But if the PC goes to sleep, or if you shut it down, the next time it wakes up, or boots, the 3rd monitor is most likely down again. When you go into display properties to attempt to turn it on again, Windows says it is unable to "save the settings" so the monitor remains off. Often Windows (upon awakening) will decide to change your Primary monitor to the wrong monitor, and ever so conveniently set your screen resolutions back to the lowest possible settings. It also skews all your desktop icons to some scattered order between monitors, making this a complete night mare every time the PC wakes up, or is re-booted. So I am once again, living without my 3rd monitor... but if I really need it, I can unplug the Cirago from the PC, wait a moment, then plug it back in, and Windows will once again recognize that I do have a 3rd monitor. I will then have to go through the ordeal of setting all the parameters for all 3 monitors up again. I am using the most recent drivers for my video card by the way. This thing is loads of FUN!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: clear picture, works like it should, small enough to fit where i needed it, not so heavy that it would disconnect itself

Cons: the cord from the display side to the vga side is a bit long, hangs down due to that but not a problem so far. wish it was one solid piece like most video adapters.

Other Thoughts: pancakes are better with jelly.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice!

Pros: -Cheap
-Feels Sturdy/Professional
-Looks Clean/Professional
-Is able to do what is expected

Cons: Unless you want the cable part to be a bit longer (which is only a personal preference anyway), I can't find anything wrong with this adapter.

Other Thoughts: At the time of writing this, I've had it for 2 days, and it can easily handle 1280x1024 @75fps without so much as a tiny bit of warmth.
Now I need another one of these, but with HDMI so that I can use my third monitor with my GeForce 660 and use 'em all for gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: It works great, plug it in and now you can use one of your older monitors to monitor your pc. I am bitcoin/litecoin mining on R9 290x's and was not in a position to buy a monitor especially after what I had just spent on gpu's

Cons: Slightly more expensive then the passive video adaptors.

Other Thoughts: I am very happy, after purchasing a VGA to hdmi and it not working. This item solved all the issues
