The KWorld PlusTV PCTOTV converter makes it easy to take your show on the road. Just slip it into your notebook bag or briefcase and never worry about how you're going to deliver a presentation again. This portable unit connects to your computer and then sends the converted signal to a TV with an S-Video or Composite connection. The USB 2.0 connection provides power so you don’t need to worry about finding an extra outlet.
Its usefulness isn't limited to the office. Connect it to your TV at home and stream web content or videos during a party. You can also use it to demonstrate your gaming prowess by sending a feed of your next PvP bout to the big screen. Whether you’re gaming in the US, Japan or Europe you can still play large with the dual format NTSC/PAL compatibility.
Pros: Does what it says, takes your VGA, spits out S-Vid or Composite for older TVs. Ability to tweak your signal for your specific TV or other device.
Cons: Not the greatest quality, but for a nice scan converter you are looking at 5 times the price. It will not remember your settings if you loose signal, until you go into the menu and make a small change, then your old settings will come back. Flicker and Sharpness adjustments have something to be desired. Color Bars appear when it senses no signal, which is great for diagnostics and setup, but annoying since it can't be turned off. No time out feature for when it has no signal. No included remote (but that is said). Device can get hot!
NOT for Videophiles! Best if your video card does NTSC video out instead.
Other Thoughts: I have not tried sending the device a standard RGB component signal (like what comes out of a DVD player or AppleTV) and so I am unsure if it will convert those devices to S-Vid / Composite.
You get what you pay for.

Pros: Just plugged it in and fliped one of the pin swicthes and had picture. had to a little adjusting and works great
Cons: noe as far as i know
Other Thoughts: this is a lot cheaper than some i looked at from some other stores.

Pros: It works when I bought it. The picture quality is OK, but do not expect you can reach text on the screen. Text is all blury
Cons: It no longer works after 1 year of using. The problem is the VGA connector. It uses some proprietory cable to connect to the VGA port of your PC. The smaller end of the connector has some pins no longer can contact the female pin, so I have no red color on the screen

Pros: *** it did not blow my house
Cons: Did not work at all. I tried to switch those little knobs to all different positions. As I was doing that I realized that the picture only shows when the knobs are in a weird "in-between" position PAL-NTSC. I actually had to hold the switch manually in that position, cause it would jump from it.
Other Thoughts: When worked, the picture was mediocre at best on my 21 inch analog TV.

Pros: Worked like it needs to get a picture to an older tv. Glad now I can stream a move to older tv from laptop when needed.
Cons: Resolution of older tv's are bad can't do anyting that would require reading but thats not the devices fault.
Other Thoughts: If your going to use the device to play movies or vids on old tv works great. Don't expect some great and wonderfull picture when your tv is before the days of High defintion. If u want that good of picture save the money u would spend on this and go buy a new tv.
