1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: better than getting robbed, atleast i got "a product"

Cons: junk hardware, introduces ground loops.
junk software, straight outta china, misspelling everywhere
too expensive

Other Thoughts: just dont buy it. passthough is cool, but not that cool to buy junk.

5 out of 5 eggsProduct works great!!

Pros: This baby puts out a great picture when I stream my games on twitch!!

Cons: Not 1080p

Other Thoughts: While it does input and output at 720p. It shows a clear quality when I use it with the xsplit program. I haven't had an issue since I bought this 6 months ago. It runs smoothly, puts out a great picture and I have 10 - 14 people watching my games when I stream.

2 out of 5 eggsDid Not Work

Pros: None

Cons: Tried hooking up through S-Video, A/V, and component, and nothing worked. I'd have to wiggle the cables to get any response, and even then I'd get no moving images. Tech support is hard to come by. You get what you pay for though.

3 out of 5 eggsNot for Component

Pros: It works fine for S-Video

Cons: I bought this thing because it has component inputs and I wanted to play some of my old games on my computer monitor in a relatively sharp manner. Thing is, the component inputs make the colors go insane. The saturation is eye-searing and lacks middle ground so everything is clumped up into bright, solid colors. I tried adjusting the post-processing in the software but it was just too far gone to fix.

Other Thoughts: It works fine for S-Video, but if I wanted to just use S-Video I could have bought a Hauppauge USB-Live2 for half the price!

4 out of 5 eggsNice quality for old stuff.

Pros: It produces a good picture with a lot of tweaking of the settings. The software for simply viewing the video output meets my needs without big complaints. Most notably, the video did not lag, as I have had trouble with that using other software. Finally, this input device works with other software not made by the manufacturer (including recording software), which is a big bonus.

Cons: It only inputs a 480p signal at max, but I think that is limited by USB 2 speeds. If this device was internal, it would probably do HD, since it passes through a 1080 signal to a TV. Also, nothing about this product is spectacular. It simply gets the job done.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for old game consoles and for my Wii, so I wasn't expecting much. I knew when I bought it that it would only be for obselete hardware. It does the job that it was intended for quite well, though, and that's all I need.
