Win 7 will install drivers for this IF you go search them on windows update, you won't be able to install with the found new hardware wizard, you have to go into control panel and run windows updates Cons: sucks that bytecc doesn't have these drivers on their website. Cons: We tried installing it in a Vostro 460 tower and the tower would not boot with the card installed. We had 4 of them, so we tried a 2nd and 3rd card, but no boot. Cons: Driver disc is pretty useless. Other Thoughts: How such a small networking card could make a pretty big difference in speed is weird. Cons: Plugged in easily but when installing the driver on my xp system it crashed my computer 2 times and hung it up 2 more. I've never even had this happen when installing a driver. Driver Installation instructions were very simple and straight forward. Cons: I gotta buy a new specialized cable to take full advantage of it. Windows doesn't like it Other Thoughts: Despite not running at it's full potential (I STILL don't have all of the proper equipment), this card is a drastic improvement over my original. NotTooMuch 9/29/2008 9:04:01 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5 Pros: Good price. Cons: When moving 200Mbps or so through this card my PC would reboot. The motherboard BIOS is up to date. It would seem to be an IRQ conflict, but I couldn't find anything overlapping with it. Their website doesn't even have this this card listed on the "drivers" page; maybe I missed them, but it looks like networking cards isn't their specialty - so I have to assume that the drivers that came with the card are the most current/only. I switched it out with a standard PCI 1GB card (Netgear) and no more rebooting with large transfers.
