Cons: None Other Thoughts: A Patriot Supersonic 64GB flash drive plugged in to this card gives 63 MBps sustained writes, and 123 MBps sustained reads. Have it installed in Slot 7 (PCI-E 2.0 x 4) on a Supermicro X8DA6 motherboard. As well, to achieve such performance, a USB 3 cable and device are required. A USB 3 cable has 8 conductors as opposed to the USB 2 4 conductors. Conveniently, all formats are cross-compatible, due to strategic placement of USB 2 and 3 conductor sets within the USB 3 connector. Did you find this review helpful?
