5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Connected to PC (Windows 7 32 bit) and drivers downloaded and installed automatically, then automatically updated to the latest firmware. Super easy to set up. Plugged in to the PC, installed the cablecard, followed the Windows Media Center instructions, and after making the phone call to Time Warner to activate the cable card, I was able to watch and record TV. The TV guide in Windows Media Center works and automatically records the HD version of TV shows. Super cheap for what you get.

Cons: Huge power brick, support ended for this device a long time ago so it no longer receives updates, and has only 1 tuner which means you can only record one show at a time. One tuner also means you can't be watching TV while it records, and it can't record while you're watching TV, if you're using this device to watch TV.

Other Thoughts: You can use multiples of this device on the same computer, but that means you need multiple cablecards which costs extra monthly. You're better off just buying a newer tuner which can allow for more channels to be recorded on a single cablecard, and still has support. As I said earlier, this device is no longer supported and receives no more updates. While setting up the TV signal in Windows Media Center, it kept coming up as a Analog tuner, not a digital one when it scanned automatically. I had to set it up manually, telling Windows it was a Digital tuner. That worked and it was immediately detected as a cablecard tuner. Unit gets warm, but not hot. This device DOES NOT have an FM Tuner like Newegg says.

4 out of 5 eggsATI Hits A Homerun With This Tuner!!!

Pros: -Excellent product. I've had this tuner for over 3 years now and never had hardware any issues.

-Works great with Windows Media Center.

Cons: -Picture occasionally drops out when switching from an HD channel to standard definition channel. Really annoying because the program will not record if it does. If you rarely record in standard def. then it's not that big a deal.
