4 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Does exactly what its supposed to and its pretty small. I'd give it 5 if i'd had it for longer. Maybe I'll change it when I have.

Cons: No cons

Other Thoughts: I decided to write a review today because I thought it had died, but turns out it was my HDMI cable that died. So figured i'd give this a good review.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says

Pros: - Gives extra display port with no difference in speed/performance
- USB 3.0 Speed/performance
- Small Size
- Sturdy and Strong. Good quality.
- You could plug up to 6 of these into one computer. However, I am yet to find a highly rated USB 3.0 Port. Also, I'm not sure if there would be performance loss if you used a hub on this. Probably not since they advertise that you can use 6 of these at once, but I haven't tried it.

Cons: - Price. I got it when it was $54.99. This is pretty expensive. But if you take into account the other options, it's not bad. If it's for your laptop, there really is no other option than to get something like this. You could maybe try eGPU. If you have a desktop, your other option would be to buy a 2nd video card.

Other Thoughts: My laptop is a Lenovo T420 with Intel 3000 graphics. The Intel 3000 graphics can only do a maximum of 2 displays regardless of how many display ports you have.

4 out of 5 eggsMet My Expectations

Pros: Plug and play, what can I say. I tried this out on two different systems. The first was at work where I wanted a third monitor. I installed the software and hooked up a 1366x768 monitor to my laptop (core i5 w/ windows 7 32 bit) and voila, I had a 3rd monitor. Couldn't have been easier. I could not test any video or gaming on this setup since it was at work but the extended desktop worked well. Couldn't have been easier. Second setup was at home. I was adding a second monitor to a desktop. This computer was running Win 7 64 bit and I was adding a 1680x1050 monitor. Again, a flawless install. I was able to stream a 1080p youtube video without any stuttering at all. I am not sure if the good performance was due to usb 3.0 or not.
is was becauseI plan on getting another adapter

Cons: I found it a bit odd that the "USB" cable was different than what I expected. Looks like not all USB cables can be used with this adapter. This is not a problem for me, just an observation.

Other Thoughts: The Koutech IO-UVD130 USB 3.0 to DVI Video Adapter appears to be the same as this one, with the same "USB" cable and it is $51 delivered compared the GWC one which was $58 delivered. I plan on ordering the Koutech one for work and keeping the GWC one at home.
