Horrible, Absoloute Trash!
Pros: Only Pros I am going to give in this review is that the software installed correctly, In all other capture cards I have used, Software has been a pain. Now it did install correctly but that doesn't necessarily mean it WORKED.
Cons: Before I start off my cons I would like to say one thing, and make it very clear, IT DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 8!!! I spent the whole summer working on this trash. Finally found one missing cable it DIDN'T come with, plugged it in to the back of my PS3, and it didn't work. I have had it since June 10, 2013 and just officially gave up today on September 1st 2013! It was a hassle to set up and now I have to remove the capture card/box and all of its wires and put it in the trash, or sell it online. Either way, I'm parting with this trash. My second con is that its like a tumor. Its big for a capture card. Compared to Elgato and others. My next con is that the instructions aren't very clear at all. In fact, They're insturction booklet is too small, The words had me putting my glasses on. No joke. Overall bad!
Other Thoughts: Do not buy it if you are a Mac OSX user. Windows 8 user, or if you don't like getting mad. Just go with an Elgato or even an AverMedia or something, Whatever you do just dont buy this tumor-shaped-hard-to-install-garbage. Or the TSHTIG. As I like to call it...

Other Thoughts: You need to understand that the title of this product is misleading. This WILL NOT capture HD footage. HD footage can be fed IN but it will capture the footage at an SD resolution (720x480). This is also strange because 720x480 is a somewhat non-square pixel 4x3 aspect ratio. They would have been better off capturing the footage at 640x480 square. Beyond that I don't understand why you would down convert an HD signal (16x9 natively square) to a (4x3 non-square) format. Does the device letterbox the footage or is it anamorphic? If the 16x9 footage is anamorphic, YouTube will not auto recognize the aspect ratio and the clip will be treated as 4x3 which means you will need to process the video again before uploading it to YouTube (which is one of the products big claims) to a Square pixel 16x9 format like 854x480 or 640x360 in order to see the footage correctly.
