Simply connect the included 3.5mm audio cable and the included VGA cable to your computer's VGA port then connect your HDMI cable from the AVH100F converter to your HDTV and you will be able to enjoy stunning HD video quality (1080P) along with superior audio.

Extend and Share Your Screen Extend your desktop with high-resolution dual display support. The VGA-to-HDMI adapter supports Primary, Extended, and Mirror modes, with widescreen monitor resolutions up to 1920x1080 and standard monitor resolutions up to 1600x1200. View applications and data simultaneously across multiple screens, or with display continuity. Multitask more effectively without overlapping windows.
Simple to Use The VGA-to-HDMI adapter is hot-swappable and hot-pluggable. Simply connect the VGA connector of the adapter to a VGA port on your laptop, connect the 3.5mm cable to your laptop's audio output, then connect the HDMI connector of the adapter to an HDTV or desktop monitor to view multiple screens and share audio in Mirror mode. Or connect the VGA connector of the adapter to a VGA port on your computer and connect the HDMI connector of the adapter to a second monitor to extend your desktop with display continuity or to view multiple screens.

Cons: Cables are to short. VGA to VGA is less then 6 inches. Other Thoughts: Nice idea. I just went ahead and purchased a 25ft vga cable to solve all my problems. Did you find this review helpful? Neither will produce any output. Tried several different display adapters in several different computers as well as direct DVI and HDMI via the DVI to HDMI adapter. (The adapters work.) So far both of our units produce NO output. Have opened trouble tickets with Aluratek. Their "Live Chat" support doesn't seem to work. After entering information and clicking next, nothing useful happens. Other Thoughts: If issue get's resolved, I'll update. If this is the only post, then the "Not Scottish" rating still holds.. I Got The Highest Priced One So It's Gotta Be Great ! [ purchased 2 of these !] Hooked up my tower to the TV, Beautiful ! 2 Minutes Later ? BLANK DISTORTION ! I say what? Check all the cables, they are fine, connections are good & no shorts. I grab the converter & it's warm. So, I say "Maybe I Got A Lemon Here ?" So I open the other one, put it in line, & Wow ! It's back ! Beautiful Screen ! Then ? 5 minutes latter ? BAM ! IT BURNS OUT ! 2 ??? No power surges as I am protected by Cyberlink which is Awesome. But, "Stay Away From These" !
