Bryan 8/2/2012 10:02:10 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5Worst Device on the face of the Earth Pros: Absolutely no Pros! Cons: This product does not even deserve 1 egg. It is absolutely horrible. I wish I looked at amazn prior to purchasing this product as the reviews there are enough to drive you away from purchasing this product. I feel obligated to post this and take note that I never leave reviews. I want to start this review off by saying: There is no support for this product. Period. Software: The setup/drivers from the CD are MONTHS old and have old firmware for your usb dongle devices. If you do happen to install the firmware, than when you plug-in your dongle into your computer there will be a notification stating you have old firmware installed with no way to install the latest version. I downloaded the newest setup and updated the firmware. The troubleshoot feature on the newest setup does not even work, you manually have to go into program files. -- This product uses a 3rd party-app to function called DisplayLinkManager. It does not work out of the box. Other Thoughts: CONTINUATION OF CONS I trouble-shooted it for 2 hours and it still does not work, different drivers, different setups, different LinkManager setups/drivers. Different USB Ports. There is no button to press connect, The product would not even connect after unplugging and replugging. I restarted service on DisplayLink manager via the control panel and still no go. i tried many multiple ways, settings, configurations, etc. TO JUST GET TO THE POINT: This product does not work and has horrible support. **I am no way a noob as i work for the US Air Force and deal with these type of things daily. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. You must be line of sight from Transmitter to Receiver and max 30ft but good luck with getting a good transmission. Other Thoughts: Nice try but a strike. Did you find this review helpful? Replaced our ceiling mounted projector with a 70" Sharp Aquos Quattron LED. Plug and Play works well with Win 7. Streams 1080 with no issues.
