Can anyone suggest 8GB memory sticks that will work? I bought Kingston KVR16LSE11/8 (labeled PC3L-12800 CL11 ECC 204-Pin SODIMMS) and they do not work with this system. The SM website doesn't suggest any 8GB sticks.

I am running 4x Kingston KVR16LSE11/8 (for 32G total) (NewEgg N82E16820239702) in my SuperMicro SYS-5018A-TN4 server. No problems.

The Intel Atom Cxxx series have recently been found to have a fatal flaw that renders them dead beginning around 18 months due to a bad clock generator. Are these and other listed products utilizing the Cxxxx series processors been replaced with fixed models?

The SuperMicro motherboard A1SAi-2750F-O I just bought Feb 3 2017 has the defective Atom CPU. (I wish I had known, and will need to do a RMA with SuperMicro before the condition hits and warranty expires). I can't speak for inventory of the SYS-5018A-TN4 1U Rackmount Server Barebone package (I bought my SYS-5018A-TN4 in July 2016.. it too will need RMA replacement)

How loud does the case fan get under load? Am thinking of putting 3 of these in a homelab rack and throwing esxi, xenserver, or hyperv on them.

These models are relatively quiet. Under load they're not any louder than a normal desktop.
