Pros: Low power,
VM ESXi support,
QUIET!!!! I have fans on switches that run louder that the pair of these.

Cons: Just some minor tweaking needing to be done:
No extra fan for anything, had to install extra fan for additional quad port NIC;
SATA cables need to be upgraded/change the format/direction(right angle instead of straight) of the SATA plugs would help.
Need to change rack mounts to support two pole racks, not just four pole racks.
Bottom lip on rear of server makes removing RJ45s hard, have to use a flat head or similiar to get off.
Management port default on, should be off.
Wish for the option to have dual Atom processors!

Other Thoughts: Awesome device. I am using a pair as vm servers for a LAMP cluster. I have eight linux machines running on each them, and no hickups at all. Well one, make sure that you get the right RAM. I didn't, and had to wait another 5 days to get them running.

Pros: Low power with plenty of processing power for a basic server. Nice case and layout. Good price point.

Cons: Concerns about reliability.

One unit died after a a couple weeks while still working on server setup. Strange problem with no keyboard/mouse (USB) in Linux (keyboard works in BIOS). Everything worked fine for a few days. Swapping hard drives and other parts between the two units surprisingly points to the motherboard as the problem. Lots of time wasted debugging this because it seemed like a software/driver issue. I'm 35 days past the Newegg ship date, so I will have to figure out how to get this replaced.

Pros: Easy to configure with readily available parts.
Quite.
Supports Linux.

Cons: No out of the box RAID support.
No dual power supply support.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these machines set up. One running CentOS-7 and acting as a L.A.M.P. server. The other set up as a time clock server Running Win7 Pro and MS SQL Server. Both installations were a breeze to set up. I only had to install RAM and HDD's and install the OS. SuperMicro does not have drivers that fully support Windows 7 Pro, but everything that I need is working, so I'm not overly concerned.
I like to run my servers with a RAID 1 (mirrored) set up, but there is no RAID support on the MoBo. I had to use software RAID on the CentOS install, but had to forgo the RAID on the Windows installation. Fortunately there are plenty of extra drive slots that can be used for backups etc...

Pros: Its supermicro, ipmi, ip kvm, quiet, efficient, 8 core, very fast compared to other atom processors

Cons: Ordered an extra fan for the hard drive.
Wish it had redundant power supplies but i guess that defeats the purpose of low power

Other Thoughts: Overall very good, will be ordering another soon.
