LSI LSI00264 MegaRAID LSIiBBU08 Battery Backup Unit for 9260/1 and 9280 Series

Pros: Seems to work (have not tested it)
Integrated into software that indicates it is working as it should

Cons: Expensive
Firmware update of the card was required to make it fully functional

Other Thoughts: The card recognized the BBU prior to firmware update, saying it needed to be charged, but even after charging for the required time it still didn't recognize it as charged or working properly until I updated the firmware.

There was one problem in which the UPS truck was hit by a tornado. Kudos to both UPS and Newegg, the claim was processed and I had the replacement order within a week.

Pros: Simple to install on card. Does tghe job

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: if you spent the bucks for the LSI card go all the way and get the BBU
