Pros: Works exactly as expected, even in a somewhat complex setup (2 SATA drives assigned to a Windows Home Server running as virt. machine inside a Windows Server 2008 R2). Put card in, boot, new BIOS Entry shows up. Windows does not recognize the driver automatically, but updating the driver via CD works right away - and I was in business. Since I am using the WHS drive extender functionality I did not enable a RAID, but that would be straight foward in the BIOS.
Cons: Watch out whether you buy the low profile cersion with short bracket or the version with standard bracket!
Other Thoughts: I made the dumb mistake myself and bought the low profile version. I ended up installing the card temporarily without bracket. Syba support was great and sent me the right bracket free of charge! Great support like this is remarkable - I owe them one!

Pros: Low profile design - you can put it in 2U servers without using raiser card. It works. eSATA hot-plugging works
Cons: Some things don't work: You need to install driver for the card to start working. Even with driver you can't disable caching in Windows 2008 server. It's always on. No S.M.A.R.T. information can be read from HDDs that are connected via this card
