This one had a capacitor can that had apparently been cold soldered and declared its independence. Other Thoughts: This is the second time in two weeks that I received a DOA item from NewEgg. Their bargains are becoming K-Martish. Manufacturer Response: Dear Customer, We apologize for the condition of the controller card you received. Benny M. 8/22/2015 7:28:40 AM Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Slightly faster than USB 3.0 This review is from: SYBA SI-PEX20174 Low Profile USB3.1 2 Port USB 3.1 Type A PCI-e 2.0 x 4 Controller Card Pros: After you plug in card and turn on PC, windows update will automatically try to locate driver online. Be sure to cancel this, and load the driver on the disk. To locate the right driver on the disk you must read the really small print in the "manual" that comes with product. Cons: Bought 2, one was DOA. Does not appear to be quality made. Was unable to locate an up to date driver on company website. Please note that you must connect the card to the power supply via the SATA power connection on the card. Also check that you have downloaded the latest drivers from our website for this chipset.
