4 out of 5 eggsNice cabinet

Pros: Very sturdy

Cons: Difficult to assemble with the limited instructions. Parts are not labeled, which makes many of the instructions meaningless.

Other Thoughts: This cabinet has been great so far. I have it loaded up with 2 servers, a gigabit switch, and a PDU.

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible Instructions

Pros: Once its together, it works like it should

Cons: Terrible Instructions, wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out. The instructions have not words or writing, just a big diagram which you have to figure out. I eventually stopped attempting to build it after about 2hrs because i was wasting to much time. Started up again days later.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Instructions are horrible...the mounting is held on by two tiny screws holding up quite a bit of weight and the side doors come off which makes the security of the locking mechanism worthless

4 out of 5 eggsWallmount Cabinet

Pros: I just got this in yesterday. It's very sturdy and secure. The mounting option is great; the bracket is quite strong, and I'm not worried about my equipment and box falling out of the wall (be sure to attach to wall studs).

Cons: My only complaint are the assembly instructions, in that there aren't any. Only an exploded diagram is supplied, however, it isn't too difficult to put together.

The side detachable panels come off really easily, so put them on after everything is mounted. It looks like round-locks can be put on them for extra security, if needed.

Other Thoughts: Suggested order of assembly:
1) attach the 4 frame edges (they have 4 screws in each end) - make sure the holes are pointing inward.
2) Snap-in the screw nut things. Put them at the 5th hole in, so that the cross L brackets will line up and the inner assembly will go smoother.
3) on the L brackets, go ahead and snap in the screw nut things. These are a pain in the ***, so do it now.
4) Do the inner assembly
5) Slide the whole thing into the "bottom", and screw that into the larger bolt-nuts. The door has a separate rotator dowel piece thing in the screw bag - make sure this is on the bottom - on the top, the door is quite wobbly.
6) Slide the top on and screw on the same.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat unit!

Pros: Cabinet was fairly easy to assemble.
Rugged build quality - I hung off it once it was on the wall (~160lbs of geek)
Fit all the gear I wanted to get in there - great for telco/networking stuff.
Pricepoint was awesome.

Cons: No assembly instructions to speak of (Just an exploded parts list/CAD style drawing), so a couple of places I wasn't able to reach to tighten the nuts with the build order I chose...
A few of the locking style nuts wouldn't thread onto their bolts all the way

Other Thoughts: Also bought a shelf ( ) from the same company, fit like a dream, allowed even more separation of components.

4 out of 5 eggsMore brackets

Pros: Very sturdy construction. Loved the instructions.

Cons: Need more brackets included. Will make/buy some to fit the dimensions. I also see no point in there being a right angle on the inside columns. It makes it so only one size of brackets will fit.

Other Thoughts: Should be an instruction that says "when building a real server, throw away back panel"

3 out of 5 eggsDecent inexpensive 9u cabinet

Pros: Sturdy, easy to put together (mostly), holds what I need it to hold

Cons: Quality control is lacking. 1st unit went together w/ no issues. On the 2nd unit one of the corners where the rack inserts was a 1/4" to short. After a lot of banging to get it to fit I had to pull out the tin snips and cut the corner of the bottom to make it fit.

Other Thoughts: It would of earned at least 4 eggs if it the 2nd unit hadn't been such a pain in the rear to assemble. You get what you pay for. A decent no frills cabinet to hold a few pieces of networking equipment.

3 out of 5 eggsNeeds Extra Shelf Brackets

Pros: This was an inexpensive solution for peripheral, rack-mountable server equipment. Fits well in tight spaces and is very portable.

Cons: Isn't quite deep enough for actual servers so you wouldn't want to get this for anything other than peripheral equipment.
I don't know why they only come with one set of shelf brackets and/or don't sell extra mounting shelf brackets separately like that are like the ones that it come with. These would cost $10-$20 but the cheapest shelves they sell are $40+ and are a little overkill.
Lastly, there were some less than perfect bends and blemishes on the equipment out of the box but nothing too awful.

Other Thoughts: I use this for a couple 24-port swithces and a UPS.

I added two 120MM fans and used a fan connector to molex and also a molex to A/C adapter to get power to these fans.
