Pros: It is a nice rack and pretty cheap. All the doors and locks work. Looks nice as well. Has caster and legs. Has forward/back and top/bottom gaps for running cables (or you fill them in with plates).
Cons: If you are not used to racks and the their size, this is bigger than you might expect. But it a quality product.
I chime in on the instructions being very poor. Go online and get that one as well. Norco doesn't have quality instructions on anything that they make, but once it is together is will last.
Other Thoughts: If I had to get it again, I would. Plus I could put it together faster the second time around. Just be sure to build it in the room where you want it. It is big, thus very heavy. NO STAIRS.
Pros: It serves it's purpose of being a sturdy rack cabinet and is great for the price.
Cons: None that haven't already been mentioned. Don't even look at the instructions that come with it, go online and use those. Locking mechanism is more for perception of security. If you really want something that can't easily be opened, this probably isn't the best product.
Other Thoughts: I'm happy with this rack cabinet. I knew the cons before I bought it. There have been no new cons so far and I don't see any in the future. It is a very solid rack cabinet and I'm very pleased with it.
Pros: Solid once it's all together. The packaging makes it look scary but assembly was pretty straightforward. Really impressed for the price. The assembly instructions available on the manufacturer's website were good.
Cons: The included assembly instructions were atrocious; they looked like a photocopy of a fax of a 1990s photocopy from a scratched up copier. The instructions on the website were 1000x better, I don't know why they aren't included.
Pros: It is an enclosed 4 post server rack and is a very good price. All 4 sides lock, it has wheels and legs. They even include some cage nuts and screws.
Cons: Like another reviewer said , the directions SUCK. I went to http://www.norcotek.com/services.php#catalog to download the C-24U Assembly Instructions (5mb DL) and it was much better. Even those directions could have been a little better, but thats the only downside to this thing.
Other Thoughts: Also someone mentioned the door was scraping at the bottom when they closed it , thats because they installed the door upside down. I did the same thing because the doors have no writing on them so its hard to figure out which way is what.

Pros: Fairly inexpensive, arrived with little to no surface blemishes, excellent for mounting a few servers and telco equipment.
Cons: Locking mechanisms on doors are not very effective, & doors slide against the bottom of the enclosure.
Other Thoughts: My only real issue with this unit was the locking mechanisms on the front and rear doors. The latches were bent out of alignment with the slats on the side panels for both doors. The lock for one of the doors prevents the handle from being secured in place. Security isn't really a concern of mine, considering that it's sitting in my bedroom, but for someone looking to purchase this for use in a business environment this could be a problem.

Pros: Affordable, well built, larger that anticipated.
Cons: Larger than anticipated, hard to read assembly instructions, LONG assembly time.
Other Thoughts: This unit took me 6 hours to put together myself. The instructions were terrible copies of a copy of a copy... you get the point. They were so faded I could hardly read the text on them. This unit also came with no rails, although it does not say it does. So far I have a 1U UPS, 3 1U IBM eServers, and 1 2U HP Proliant server in this, as well as my networking hardware, keyboard/mouse, USB KVM switch, and a monitor. Still PLENTY of room for more. Hope to fill this someday.
Dear Valued Customer,
We're sorry the instructions were bad. Normally it take less an hour for assembling. Please download the instruction (PDF file) from our website or contact us.
Best Regards, Norco Support Team
