2 out of 5 eggsReview Update: Manufacturer Response

Pros: Customer support responds. This is good.

Cons: Here is customer support response:

The good news is, the Linux kernel has had upstream native drivers for that chip for years. So we don't have to worry about OS compatibility.
Next, sometimes the card may simply be not getting along with the slot it was put into. Try moving it - or if there isn't another slot free, swap it with another card.
Finally, Sometimes "branded" PC hardware just isn't compatible. If you can't get the thing working by moving it around on the motherboard, all you really have left to try is to confirm it still works by putting it back in the Optiplex. If it fires up there, and you can't get it going at all in the Precision, then there's really nothing else we can do.
I usually hear this sort of complaint against Dell's Optiplex product family.
The only remaining advice I have is this: if you can't get the ADSA3GPX1-2E working in that computer, chances are pretty good the ADSA6GPX1-2E will work fine.

1 out of 5 eggsWorks, But Not On Newer Hardware

Pros: Works if you have an older system (i.e., Core 2 Duo). Supports multiplexing

Cons: This item does not work with newer computers. For two newer, Core i5/7 systems (Dell Optiplex 790 and Precision T7600), neither the BIOS, nor the operating system enumerates the card. When installed in an older, Core 2 Duo, both the BIOS and the operating system enumerates the card. This leads me to conclude there is a design flaw with the card or firmware.
