5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Makes 1080p .mkv files play flawlessly on my 8.9" Acer Aspire One, which has the Intel Atom n270 1.6ghz single core processor, cpu usage is at 35%.

Cons: Can't get flash/youtube videos play 1080p, I think this is due to the latest flash not being supported, I'm not going to dock a star.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Allows my little Intel powered netbook to play HD content in most cases. Using with Windows 7 WMC and XBMC just fine. Went from mostly ignoring my netbook because it could not play vids to making it my living room HTPC.

Cons: Not entirely plug and play in that you have to work a little to get codecs set up right and have support in the software you want. Gets hot with extended use. Youtube based trailers in XBMC are stuttering and slow like it is not being used, still have to track that down.

5 out of 5 eggsA Must Buy

Pros: Excellent miniPCIe Card. It's a must have for anyone watching videos on an Intel Atom/AMD Hudson CPU-Chipset. It takes a lot of the processing off of the CPU/GPU, allowing you to multitask or watch full 1080p video flawlessly.

Cons: There is no idle function on the card, so expect it to heat up when not being used. But most of you will probably end up using it for your daily use. Advice: install this in a well-ventilated case.

Other Thoughts: I installed this card in a Foxconn nt-A3700-0H0WBANA Barebone Unit. Without the card, the unit would stutter when playing 1080p video, but with the card, I can play 4 videos at the same time. Amazing!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Little Card

Pros: Amazing video performance.
Brings HD video to life on a netbook.
Easy to set up and install.

Cons: Doesn't make me a sandwich...

Other Thoughts: I installed this card into an ASUS EeePC 1001PX netbook with a 1.6GHz Atom processor. Had to remove the wireless card to install this HD decoder card, but replaced it with a low profile USB wireless N adapter.

Prior to installing this HD decoder card, this netbook struggled greatly with any video above 480p. Now it can smoothly play 1080p video. It does really well with 1080p YouTube videos, and does a decent job with Adobe Flash Video...

I didn't install the drivers from the CD which comes with the Broadcom Crystal HD 3.5 drivers. I went directly to Broadcom's website and install the 3.6.9 version right from the get go. The installation CD also comes with some codecs that really brings this card to life. I highly recommend installing these codecs along with the latest version of the driver.

5 out of 5 eggsworks in multiple operating systems

Pros: Does reduce CPU usage on my Samsung n120. Tried it in xp,win 7, fedora 16, and jolicloud. They all work as for Linux just takes some common extra steps using xbmc to see the true abilities that this card can deliver

Cons: In win xp and 7 while viewing 1080p I do see some frame drops from 24 to 11 often. I believe this to be a software issue as using jolicloud and fedora I can play the same video and get 24 to 20 frames consistently.

Other Thoughts: Keeps CPU usage at roughly 40 percent vs 100 and dropping frames

5 out of 5 eggsextend the life of my 2006 Mac mini

Pros: I was about to get a new build to replace my old mac mini, and this little thing save me hundreds of dollars.

Cons: none. Only XBMC support it in Mac environment. That's sad, but not this card's fault.

Other Thoughts: I think this is a relatively newer version, some Mac mini users might have to watch out because there are specific drivers (non-official) for it, and what most people use (v. 1.01) don't work. It took me hours to figure out I need v. 3.6 driver.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks in a Dell

Pros: Boosted my Windows 7 score from 3.7 to 4.3, can be used in either a full height or half-height slot, worked in my dell Latitude E6410.

Cons: Huh, the other version of this card is the HB-VD904. I have never used a decoder card before, but i have used many other add on cards; IC's don't like heat, the smaller they are, the hotter they get. Not that heat is an issue yet, (2-hours of flash play) but since this half-height card has an aluminum adapter for full size, it'd be a cool (pun not intended) to use the extender as a heat sink.

Other Thoughts: I did a lot of research into these add-on cards and their compatibility with Dell. I have the BT/WiFi module installed in the "WAN" slot, this in the WWAN port, and i still have a third mini PCI-e for the encryption but don't know if it works in it yet.

This did what i needed in my awful no graphics card Dell; i can watch Hulu or Netflix without bogging down my CPU anymore. for the price, give it a go!

If you did a keyword search, i have the Intel i5 m540.
