1 out of 5 eggsDied the day I open the package.

Pros: Died the day I hooked it up. It turned on then smoked up the house with in 5 seconds of being on.

Cons: Sorry I am just getting around to writing a review this thing. I completely forgot about it. I bought it 3/16/2012 hooked it up, and poof it went. I RMA the thing the same day.

Other Thoughts: It was to bad it crapped out 5 seconds of owning. :(

1 out of 5 eggsDied at 11 months old

Pros: Cheap, fits case.

Cons: Weak, died at 11 months. Warranty only good for 3 months.

Other Thoughts: Well, I can afford a better one now, so I guess I'll spring for a better power supply. Unfortunatly, he'll have to wait a week or so. New Egg has a warehouse about 200 miles from here, so it shouldn't take long.

2 out of 5 eggsZUMAX

Pros: Price

Cons: Didn't last but two weeks even though I bought it in 2013 I needed it to repair a computer that needed a power supply so wasn't open till then.

Other Thoughts: Like they say you get what you pay for so buy wisely not that a brand name can't go bad either.

4 out of 5 eggsLasted longer than expected

Pros: Lasted for 6 years now and is still going strong. Computer is on 24/7. Still give proper voltage/amps on all rails.

Cons: I have had to replace both fans in this power supply now due to barring failure.

Other Thoughts: This is a zumax power while it isn't bad it is outdated by today standards and quality control may have gone down from when i received my unit. My unit was of surprisingly high quality and had one of the best pcb boards i had seen in a power supply but i can not speak for newer units.

2 out of 5 eggsStarted Arcing and more...

Pros: While it was working it could handle my complete rig

Cons: A capacitor literally fell out. No joke.
Destroyed my motherboard

Other Thoughts: I liked this power supply at first but then my computer stopped working. A computer tech friend diagnosed a motherboard issue after bypassing the power supply. After repairing the motherboard, it still wasn't working. We bypassed again and presto, it worked. Taking out the power supply we heard a rattling.

Since the power supply was out of warranty anyway we took it apart (and took safety precautions, if you don't know what you are doing DO NOT take apart power supplies EVER). When we separated the shell one of the capacitors fell out. The soldering had come apart from the look of things.

As of now I am using an old power supply from a spare desktop. Can't use my graphics card but I want to get a power supply that won't destroy other components.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Able to support independently powered GPUs.

Stylish black.

Cheap.

Cons: Iffy Q&A.

Unknown company.

build quality is woefully average.

Cheap.

Other Thoughts: This PSU was already cheap and I got during a Christmas sale. Reviews consensus seems to be that if it works it works well, but it is up in the air if it works or not. I rolled the dice and figured if it ate it then I would deal with RMAing it was worth it for the price.

Well over a year later and it is still going strong. It can run a bit hot which is probably why it has a "turbo" button for the fan. The build quality is very average and it doesn't exactly instill confidence in you when you pick it up but it works. A few times it started to make a very faint rattle which I just figured was the maybe the fan acting up or perhaps an internal screw or something because everything I can reach is tight. flicking the exhaust fan's grill makes the noise stop.

1 out of 5 eggsWARNING

Pros: NewEgg comes through again with fast shipping.

Cons: Lighted fan was in the back, not the 'bottom' as pictured, the picture is misleading (or my unit was at very least.)
I ran this unit under nominal load, and it failed in 8 months, which is no where near the expected life span of a power supply, especially since I do not use the system but an hour or two a day. I can see why I got it on sale now...

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this unit to anyone.
