1 out of 5 eggsDidn't Last Long

Pros: Zero, nada

Cons: Bought this PS a couple of months ago as a spare. Put in in a new build the other day and it lasted about 2 hours, filling the house with a burned smell. Tested the unit and it was fried.

Other Thoughts: Please stay away from this one!!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for 30 bucks!!

Pros: Good power supply. Almost silent.

Cons: Took me 4 to get 2 good ones. One of them only tested 11.3 V and the other had a bad fan

1 out of 5 eggsWorked great...for about a month.

Pros: Great price?

Cons: You get what you pay for. I put this in my girlfriend's machine and it ran great for about a month. After that it decided it's life was over.

Other Thoughts: If you're in the market for a psu don't be too cheap about it. It's just as important as any other part you plan on putting in your machine. Especially considering you don't wanna end up frying something with a cheap one. You should be paying somewhere around $1 for every 10 watts for a reliable one.

3 out of 5 eggsFirst unit was DOA, newegg replaced and its good now.

Pros: Works when unit is not DOA.

Cons: First unit was DOA, would not power on.
Only has a single 4pin 12v plug for MB.
Only has single 6pin PCIe power plug for video card.

Other Thoughts: Thankfully Newegg is quick and easy to deal with on DOA parts, otherwise i'd be upset.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well so far

Pros: Had the connections I needed and hasn't caused any problems. I haven't noticed it being loud. Cheap.

Cons: Not the highest wattage, but it's 12V rail was acceptable.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Power Supply

Pros: This is a decent power supply, 500W, 2x 20 Watt 12V rails, 2 fans, inexpensive. Despite the cons below, it's been powering the computer now for a few days perfectly.

Cons: This power supply has 2 fans, one that blows air in from the inside of the case, and one that blows air out of the back of the case, push/pull style. The rear fan has a blue led. When the PSU arrived the rear fan and blue led did not work. I sent an email to tech support. It's been about 2 days and they haven't replied, so I opened up the power supply and the fan wasn't plugged in all the way. I pushed it the rest of the way in and now both fans and the led work.

Other Thoughts: I guess this is what I should have expected for $25. I took off 1 egg for no email reply, and another egg for having to open it up to fix it myself.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: Blue led fan, 500W, lots of connections, TURBO!

Cons: not sleeved, not modular, wires could be alittle longer (using a case with cable management), ticking from one of the grills hitting the fan (no biggie, easy fix)

Other Thoughts: Uses 4-pin AMD CPU wire, I don't really use the turbo button

5 out of 5 eggsvery quiet

Pros: Power supply works and is quiet... actually... much quieter then anticipated. Highly recommend for someone who wants to make a quiet machine.

Cons: When using the "turbo" button, there is a clicking noise, but it doesn't effect performance. Just gets irritating.

I checked for rubbing on the internal fans, turns out I just had to take an exact-o knife and trim off a nub from where the plastic mold's plastic was poured in. Not really that big of a deal.

Other Thoughts: Needs an LED on/off switch too.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY IT!!!!

Pros: NONE

Cons: I bought 9 of them.then installed it, run a game, it restarted. i tried other one, same problem. then i try all of them... all of them having this problem. so useless. really? 500W? Dont ever think about to buy this thing! otherwise your screen will show Unstable Power Supply Unit ALL THE TIME!!!

Other Thoughts: I called manufactor, they told me its not there problems. wow! then this must be my problem! right! because i bought there items! that is all my fault!!!
DO NOT BUY IT OR YOU WILL REGRET!
