5 out of 5 eggsRelatively impressive for the price

Pros: Seems built fairly well. My client seems to like the blue lighting it gives off. The psu was used in a entry level gaming build and seems to handle the harware configeration nicely.

Cons: The blue light is intense when the turbo fan is engaged. I believe the turbo fan is not needed unless being pushed to its limit by greater hardware.

Other Thoughts: The clients pc:

AMD A6 quad core 2.9Ghz
AMD Radeon 7750
MSI A 55 mobo
4gb gskill 1333
500GB WD HDD
LG Disk Drive

The build seems stable when at 100% load for 2 hours. I hardly beleive that it reaches close to 450w which this psu claims. Its hard to believe that a psu in this range can give that anyways. If you are just building an entry gamer or media pc, this psu seems like it will do fine for many hardware setups thst use low power

5 out of 5 eggsTopower ZU-450W

Pros: Works great and at a good price. Replaced an Ultra 700+ that's going into a new build. Surprised at the weight of the unit; it's heavy! Impressed with the two blue leds that's not mentioned in the description. Good unit and will look at other Topower units in the future.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs1year an still running

Pros: Powers 2 optical drives, 4 hdds, X1650Pro, Sound card, 3 fans, 3ghz P4 HT, 1.5Gbs of ram..
It's been running it all 24/7 since I bought it some time ago, and it's shows no signs of failure any time soon.

Cons: Could have used a bit longer SATA power connectors, though I just got a 5.25 " to 3.25" deal and it reached my SATA drive just fine.

Other Thoughts: Though I'll never need a 450W PSU again, if I ever did, I'd get the same one.

5 out of 5 eggsNice PSU

Pros: Easy to install, i did not need to modify my case as others did. Just lucky i guess. Fit into my case perfectly. Plenty of power connectors, and the fan connectors are nice as well.

Cons: None thus far

Other Thoughts: It glows blue....

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Reliable power, long cables. Lots of connects for fans.

Cons: Turbo mode is noisy. Regular setting is pretty quiet, but its the loudest component of my setup.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded my case and power source for an older P4 setup. Have Antec P180b case, Zalman VF700 VGA heatsink and fan and Zalman CNPS7000B CPU heatsink and fan. I think I need a PSU with a 120mm fan for nearly silent running. Still this one gets the job done.

3 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Looks like I'm the lucky one that got the DOA on this one. Go figure. Everything looks good on it though, like others noted, long cables.

Cons: DOA

Other Thoughts: -None-

5 out of 5 eggsTurbo mode noisy

Pros: It's enough power for my three hard drives, 1 floppy optical drive, 1 optical CD-RW drive, sound card, modem, NIC card, and 420W minimum power-hungry Radeon x1650 Pro series AGP card.

Cons: Requires some case modification if you are not sure if it will fit, or maybe even an RMA. Turbo mode is noisy.

Other Thoughts: Install was fun

4 out of 5 eggsSo good so far

Pros: Nice long cables. Pleanty of reach. Pleanty of cables to go arround. Specail fan cables are a nice touch. Seems very well designed.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: After doing alot of research it seems that no matter what brand you buy a small percentage of power supplies burn out right away. Given enough years every psu burns out. Hopefully this one will take several years to finally burn out as all psu's eventually do. Everything ages.

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems

Pros: I had to cut through steel with a hacksaw in order to expose three prong plug, which to my surprise was one of the more enjoyable things I have done in my lifetime.

Cons: Not too expensive of a UPS unit. Because of this you never know when its going to blow up, so I have to be extra careful to avoid long uptimes.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a good look at what PSU's have on and off switches in order for smooth install.
