1 out of 5 eggsDONT EVER BUY- trust me ive gotten three

Pros: They didnt come DOA so that was good. Cheap.

Cons: Ive gotten three of these over the past two and a half years, EVERYONE of them pops before the year mark. obviously its a really cheap one so you cant expect too much but just don't make my mistake. Buy a 10-15$ more one that'll last you longer than a year.

1 out of 5 eggsWell it WAS great

Pros: Worked great. Supported my rig nicely, never had a problem, even under load.
AMD Phenom II 965
EVGA GTX 560 Superclocked
ASRock 970 Pro3
Hatichi 500gb HDD 5400 rpm

Cons: You gotta wonder why I gave it one egg. Well, thats because It did that till it was JUST out of Neweggs RMA policy. It is now dead as a doorknob. This is literally one of the biggest pieces of **** I have ever owned. This is gonna be great to use as a paper weight, door stopper, etc.

Other Thoughts: When it went out, It shut down my computer when I was playing Crysis 2, Then it started to make a low hum like a small cooldown fan. Nope, it was just dead. Avoid this at all cost unless you want to replace a power supply at least once ever month and a half.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's 500W...

Cons: Purchased one in the past, worked great and came with what I needed. I purchases another for a new machine I'm building for my brother... This time around it was missing the P4 Power cables... They weren't there at all... Yet, everything else was...

Other Thoughts: I'll think twice about buying this again... :/

1 out of 5 eggs(Buzzzzzz pop)

Pros: Good while it lasted but that's about it.

Cons: The power supply does not seem to have the ability to power a computer that does not need a 500w power supply. Ran hot even though the case had plenty of air flow with positive pressure inside the case. Went out with a (pop).

Other Thoughts: I've run higher powered systems on a power supply that provided fewer watts. My build is with a Phenom II x4 at 3.4ghz, HD 6750, a HDD and a SSD, 4 fans, and 8gb of ram. Not nearly 500w :(

1 out of 5 eggsAVOID

Pros: None

Cons: Product page description is misleading, it only has 2 6-pin PCI-express plugs, no extra 2-pin. Newegg has been great, they sent me a molex-to-pcie cable for free that _could have_ still make my graphics card function. The PSU nevertheless died within a week. AVOID if you need a reliable PSU!

Other Thoughts: Newegg saves the day, as usual, with their RMA.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap and Reliable

Pros: Cheap and Reliable. Worked straight out of the box. Hadnt heard of them. Was looking for a good but cheap psu for a budget build. It has been in my son's PC for about two months. Not a single issue and quiet. I re-used a 4 year old HP case with not the best air flow. Have read horror stories about PSUs but this one is reliable and has given me no issues whatsoever.

Cons: Non
