- Pros: -Pretty: the three blue lights are bright and pleasing.
-Performance: has performed as expected for over half a year now (since purchase). -Quiet -Mail in rebate (may not be available anymore)
- Cons: -Cables can become a bit of a mess.
- Pros: Ran on the first time and has been running well ever since. No issues with the fan, I can barely hear them. Stays cool and has no performance issues. The lights are noticable, but due to my case, not extreme. Adds a good level of ambience.
- Cons: Good G-d, this thing gave me a scare. On first run it made such terrible noises that I thought it was going to catch fire. Turned it off immediately, unplugged everything from it and tried again. Not a single problem afterwards.
- Other Thoughts: A very decent PSU for quick upgrades, just don't expect to go too far in the future with it.
Quit and powerfull
- Pros: This has been a great power supply for my computer as I run two monitors and several peripheral devices. The unit runs quiet. I like the blue lights and the cables are esthetically pleasing to look at and the fans provide good air flow for my system. Have ben building compters since 1993 and this is one of the most reliable power supplies I have used
- Cons: After two years one of the three power supplies I have had a cold solder joint failure in the power input where the AC cord plugs in this is not unusual and can happen in any electrical device. As far as I am concerned his is just a minor inconvenience as there is a three year manufacture warranty so I am sending in for a replacement.
