brother TN570 High-Yield Toner Cartridge For DCP-8040, DCP-8045D Black

Pros: the printer and original toner cartridge was great. the original toner lasted print after print for over 3 years of normal printing.

Cons: i purchased this cartridge thinking this should outlast the original smaller cartridge. but this did not last long at all. we use it as a home printer so i expected it to last more than a year.

Other Thoughts: double the price of the cartridge and get a new printer, toner, and copier. i like my brother copier better than the hp and lexmark printers that i've had in the past. i also prefer laser printers over ink jet. i was interested in the samsung color laser printer but it had some critical bad points.

Pros: Great price compared to local shop selling same at list price. Usually prints about 6,500 pages per cartridge. Be sure to keep at least 1 spare on hand so you don't have to pay retail at local shop like we did once.

Cons: Would be nice to have a more accurate indicator of low toner. It can say 'toner low' for weeks then BOOM! no more printing 'toner empty'.

Pros: My brother laser toner cart. have far out performed the print page yield in description. In 5 years, with well over 10k+ pages printed (hundreds of SEC filings), I have only used the orig. cart. that came with it (1/2 full) and 1 N-570. Great Value.

Cons: NewEgg is way out of line with their pricing here. At 9ty s3ven it is the same price as the highest price locally. It is almost twnty perc less locally at the best price. This does not even account for NewEgg Shipping. This is a first for me. NewEgg usually crushes on price competition.

Pros: OEM product at a reasonable price. Definitely a better price than I can get locally.

Cons: The price has gone up over the last year.

Pros: High yield over standard toner cartridge without much extra cost. Great newegg price!

Cons: It is toner, but pretty fairly priced.

Other Thoughts: If you print a fair amount with your Brother All-In-One you are wise to go ahead and buy the high yield toner over the regular toner. It gives about 25% more pages than the standard cartridge and is more reasonably priced per page than just about any other printer I have tried.

Comments: The TN-570 is the high capacity toner. Best Value. For a few bucks more it goes a much longer way.
