5 out of 5 eggsReliable Power Supply

Pros: This is a very reliable power supply. I have not had to replace one yet, and I have used many.

Cons: No fancy paint job or cabling. No neon. Not 80 Plus certified. No recognized brand name.

Other Thoughts: On cheap systems the first thing to fail is usually the dirt cheap power supply. Once removed from the machine they way about 8 oz. and it was clear that the machine was running on hot air. When this happens, I replace them with a Sparkle power supply and don't have any problems.

A local trusted system builder turned me to this brand, as the other brand I truly trust is quite expensive but rock solid, PC Power and Cooling.

The Sparkle is cost effective and reliable. It is also a very quiet power supply with its 120mm fan. The swap from the old supply is always a welcome change as the machine goes from noisy to silent.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent quiet power supply

Pros: The huge fan moves a lot of air and makes very little noise. The PSU stays cool and quiet.

Cons: Not the cheapest 450 watt PSU around. No modular cabling.

Other Thoughts: I have found Sparkle Power to make very reliable PSUs. Don't sacrifice longevity to save a quick buck when building a PC.
