4 years old and still quiet
Pros: Inexpensive, Quiet
Other Thoughts: The Sparkle 200W supply came with an Athenatech case (A100SC.200) I purchased in 2008. I've just upgraded most of the internals, and the supply is still running nice and quiet

Buying another one
Pros: Small & simple
Other Thoughts: In Sept 2005, I bought the Athenatech case, A106SB.200, from Newegg, which came with the Sparkle FSP200-50SNV power supply. It finally died on me yesterday, after 7 years of constant usage in a media PC (~61,000 continuous hours). That's 7 years out of a power supply that costs only $25; I don't think I could have asked for more. I'm running a microATX motherboard, 2 low power hard drives, and a video capture card. Never had an issue until yesterday.

Does the job, and quiet
Pros: Pay attention, this is an SFX12V power supply - not the same as an ATX form factor that a standard desktop would require.
Cons: I would be happier if it moved more air. I will likely get a second fan and make another hole in the humidor to make sure the rest of the system doesn't heat up too much

faulty PS, doesnt fit
Cons: First off, the size of the PS is too small, the screws wouldn't fit. I would assume power supplies would have a standard form to follow, but not this one. ALso, the 20 pin and 4 pin cables had the WRONG shape pattern, it was impossible to plug it into the motherboard. The form factor is also incorrect, as my fairly modern PC case couldn't accommodate it. Their customer service kept insisting that I was wrong or my motherboard was faulty. Virtually no manufacturer's warranty for any type of replacement or exchange, arguing with them just to get a replacement for my faulty supply was already too much of a hassle.
Other Thoughts: I already heard bad things about Sparkle, but I decided to try this out since it was cheap. My doubts were confirmed.
