5 out of 5 eggsQuality product

Pros: Exceptional quality. As long as you use it within its means you have probably the best 350 Watt PSU on the market.

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: Out of about 400 we installed in systems in the last year only 2 were RMA. Those are incredible numbers that we were not able to get from any other manufacturer we used in the past.
Good job Sparkle.

5 out of 5 eggsPower Supply Test

Pros: Great Power supply for the money!
I worked at trimap intl for a year and in my experience the sparkles lasted out in the feild longer then any others.

Cons: one time a sparkles fan blade wasnt working.
but that was the 1 that came up bad the entire year of getting atleast 20 a month.

3 out of 5 eggsMine died

Pros: N/A

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Mine died yesterday, after 2 1/2 years of use. That's kind of quick, if you ask me... but maybe I'm just unlucky. Something to keep in mind.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat so far

Pros: Runs quiet.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: Great PSU for older systems. Has been running 16 hours a day for three days now. Pleased thus far but time will tell.

4 out of 5 eggsSparkle v. to throw out sparks

Pros: Inexpensive, and thus far reliable. I've purchased a half a dozen or so Sparkles in the past. They've all appeared to be reasonably well-built, and are still performing.

Cons: None as of yet.

Other Thoughts: Is it a good idea for a power supply manufacturer to be named after a verb that means "to throw out sparks?"

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Power Supply

Pros: Good price and peace of mind when buying from Sparkle. Not a very loud PS. Pretty reliable after 2 years.

Cons: 350W (Of course you knew that though). Runs a bit warm, but I really don't have a frame of reference in this area.

Other Thoughts: It runs perfectly fine with an Athlon XP 1800+, Abit NF7-S mobo, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, 2 HD, 1 DVD-ROM, and an ethernet card.

I would recommend this if you're looking to build a budget box.

5 out of 5 eggswonderful

Pros: Nothing has beaten Sparkle and Fortron/Source power supplies. I have stood by them in my recommendations and I have yet to see one fail.

This unit has stood the test so far as it is under quite a bit of stress and no problems. Good price too.

Cons: None that I know of really.

Perhaps longer power cables

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked fine for the amount of time it decided to.

Cons: After working well for a month and a half, mine decided to make a loud popping noise, start smelling like it was burning, and stop working. Looks like I'll need to find a new PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo words: Super-duper!

Pros: A true 350W Max output. It's a Sparkle. Powers an OC'd 3.2 prescott, 2 IDE HD's, a CD drive, Floppy drive and an OC'd 7600GTS without a problem.

Cons: None so far. 3 days of nearly constant running and no problems.

Other Thoughts: Over the last two weeks, I have learned that not all PSU's are equal. I bought a POWMAX over this PSU because it was only $6 after rebates. It works. The only problem is it sort of.. um... kills your mobo in a few seconds of uptime.. Not a good deal. Single digit PSU's are kinda shady. Definetly stick with quality PSU's, like Sparkle. Those cheap PSU's end up costing more in the long run.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None

Cons: First day out of the box it did not work, enough said.

Other Thoughts: I may have gotten a bad one, but I really don't want to take my chances with Sparkle Power again.
