5 out of 5 eggsSecond Review User

Pros: I have used this PS for almost two years, and it has run consistent with heavy usage and it has supported all the heighten hardware that I have through at it, pushing it up to the 500W. I bought this PS for the silence factor, and it shines in this category.

Cons: I have noticed that over time, the PS wattage has decreased slightly, but it is minimal, and most PS's do that over time. This PS also has a number of cabals, and it does make quite a mess if your chassis is too small and needs airflow. Minor criepes is that the PS is heavier, longer than most PS's, and has an extremely bright LED.

Other Thoughts: I would only recommend this PS for users sensitive to sound, or do auditory work, since most PS's are higher or lower in wattage, smaller, lighter, less cabals.

2 out of 5 eggsEarly death with bad replacement policy

Pros: It ran fine for about a year and a half. Really quiet, just want I wanted (even though its a little high priced).

Cons: Drive went completely out one day. It did not appear to be dead because the power light came on and the motherboard would power up (fans and lights, but not video). After changing motherboards it was obvious the supply was dead. However the worse part was that when I sent it in under warranty (cost $24 to ship), I was never contacted about the status. When I finally contacted them, they said it would take two months to ship me another! (and they didn't even write or call to let me know!)

Other Thoughts: This is the first out of 3 antec power supplies I have had go out (others where fine). However, I will not buy another from them just to avoid their RMA/warranty department!

4 out of 5 eggsAs Advertised

Pros: Quiet, high quality product. The heat sinks are massive and like it is advertised... no noise. Keeps case heat a few degrees lower.

Cons: I took a chance from what other people said that it was too long. I intended this to be used in a HTPC case, but the length was just too long. I used this instead on my gaming machine.

Other Thoughts: For the price I paid, I got exactly what I was looking for and happy with my purchase. I don't think I overpaid for the unit because of the way it is designed. I hope ANTEC can design the power supply to be a little more compact (depth wise).

5 out of 5 eggsStrong Silent Type

Pros: First time I turned it on, I thought something was wrong because I didn't hear anything! Running an overclocked 6600 at 3Ghz and SLI with passive cooling nearly 24/7 for a year with no problem.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As others have said, it is heavy and a bit larger than most. The Antec p180 is the ideal case for this.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Powersupply

Pros: Well the pros are obvious, no fan so its completely quiet. You get what you pay for, you pay alot, you get alot.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've had this fanless power supply in my Chen Ming server which runs 24/7 and hosts everything from FTP to VPN out of my house. Never once did the backup fan turn on, in fact after a year I opened the case and there was dust everywhere, except on or in this powersupply. Never heard a peep out of this thing, its a giant heat sink which allows it to stay cool. I'm about to buy another for my ultimate gaming rig, but I also want it super quiet. Pair this up with magnetic barometric fans and you will have a near silent system.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU, but has some issues

Pros: Ive had this for over a year and it has been fantastic. very nice capacity for average computers

Cons: however it doesn't have the 6 pin power connectors necessary to run the newer video cards coming out. I cant recommend this for gamers but for any one else this is a solid buy. also its not modular so you have to use proper cable management

Other Thoughts: has a blue LED bar on the back, but its not too bright

5 out of 5 eggsGood Power Supply

Pros: Quiet & stable.

Cons: Has a blue led in it ;-)

A little bit too longer - was a tight fit for an Antec P182 and is heavy.

Too many wires ?!!

Other Thoughts: My new case + new PS =~ 300+ USD
My old case + old PS =~ 70 USD.

Still happy :)

5 out of 5 eggsMy Favorite Power Supply

Pros: Quiet. Stable power output even at rated load. The fan has never turned on in 18 months of use.

Cons: Heavy, Longer than Usual, Not Modular.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this for a homebrew SAN device. The cons I listed are somewhat unrealistic, since the size and weight are necessary to dissipate heat. That said, if Antec ever made a modular version with the same components and construction, I'd buy three in a heartbeat.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I expected

Pros: Works great with my Antec p180 case. Makes my computer even quieter than before.

Cons: Power supply 24 pin atx power cable hits the front of the p180 lower fan. It is a tight fit.

Other Thoughts: Good quality and quiet power supply if you have the right case/setup.
