Just like thunderstorms are full of power and energy so is FSP Group’s Blue Storm II 500. This 500W PSU has two +12V rails for balanced power output. This lets you fully load your system without worrying about having enough power to run it effectively. Keeping everything cool is a 120mm fan and a fully open hexagonal mesh back panel for efficient air flow.
You don’t have to worry about your PSU limiting what you can install due to lack of connectors. In addition to the six molex and 2 floppy connectors for traditional drives there are four SATA connectors for today’s high speed drives. There are also a PCIe connectors so you can use a high end graphics card.
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: Out of 5 power supplies reviewed at hardocp.com, this is the only one to actually live up to it's power ratings. Sadly, that's hard to find. This is a gem & the manufacturer deserves praise.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: For those who don't know, HardOCP is a top hardware review & test site. One that doesn't play around & take bribes from manufacturers.

Pros: completely underappreciated psu. high efficiency, good clean power. even includes 2 6-pin headers for hungry power cards (1 header even includes 2 extra-pins for the newest 8-pin gpu cards). the psu is so smart it even detects voltage w/o a switch on the back.
Cons: none.
Other Thoughts: i have mine powering a p45 motherboard, e8500, 4gb ram, 2 sata 250gb harddrives, 2 sata lg dvd burners, a power hungry evga 9800 gtx+, 5 fans, and a wireless card.
