5 out of 5 eggssolid since 2010

Pros: SFX is the ideal size for power supplies. I have been running this one continuously since April 2010 in the US and in Europe (240V).

Cons: not stylish like Corsairs

3 out of 5 eggsAfter 3 Years????

Pros: Well they worked ok while they lasted. I have used these in 3 light duty machines that I built.

Cons: None of these PSUs lasted more than 3 years of light duty use. You are sitting there doing something on the computer and all of a sudden, PHTTT and then nothing. One lasted 38 months, one lasted 40 months and the last one lasted about 45 months.

Other Thoughts: I gave this 3 eggs because they worked good for about 3 years and they should last allot longer in a light duty situation.

4 out of 5 eggsGood replacement SFX

Pros: perfect size for small form factor case

Cons: needs more sata power connectors

Other Thoughts: Power supply works great, It is very quiet. It has only 2 sata power connectors, both on same wires. I had to buy a molex-to-sata power adapter to work in my case.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: My second one, first one is still running strong in an 8-drive server after over a year. I could have bought the other, more expensive brand(s), but these work perfectly!

Cons: Using one in a Silverstone 8-bay mITX tower, and a second in an ML06B. No issues in either case with cable management (not modular, no problem).

Other Thoughts: Would buy again. Probably will, actually, for other SFF systems currently using picoPSUs that need more power (i7s etc)

5 out of 5 eggsWorking great!

Pros: Well worth the price of entry (which is not that high to begin with). This PSU is silent, and solidly built.

1. Reviewed by professional review sites and it has achieved high marks.
2. Decent wattage supplied for the form factor.
3. Survived a two day Prime95 and Unigine Heaven simultaneous burn-in test in my build without issue.
4. 80+ Certified.
5. All of the necessary protections such as overheat, overvoltage, undervoltage, etc.
6. Cables are the perfect length for use in very small mini-ITX enclosures. Of course, you might find this to be a con if you are trying to use this unit in a mini-ITX enclosure that is large.

Cons: 1. Capacitors are made by Teapo, a 2nd Tier supplier. Of course, at this price point, you cannot expect Japanese caps either. At least there are no 3rd Tier caps present.
2. Only two SATA power connectors on one cable. The rest are molex and a floppy connector as well. This is not good...and needs to be updated.
3. The biggest weakness is the lack of a grommet/strain relief at the point the cabling leaves the steel body of the PSU. It is a open hole with wires running through. This is a potential short waiting to happen to someone.

Other Thoughts: This unit is working precisely as intended, and I would buy again. I think the unit does need to be updated to be a little more competitive in the year 2015. The lack of a grommet and the need for more SATA power connectors are the primary items I am pointing out.

I am using this unit in a Silverstone Sugo SG05 Lite mini-ITX case, and it is a perfect fit for this situation.

If you intend to use this PSU in a system with a larger video card that requires multiple PCI-E connectors and 8-pin EPS 12V, then you will be disappointed. Pick the right PSU for your situation!

5 out of 5 eggspretty decent little ps

Pros: Efficient
load ability is good
atx adapter plate is nice addition
made well
rated for 22 amps across 12v1 and 12v2, wow

Cons: Seems a bit pricey
no color or black paint on the unit
I assume it has no video card power cables because it's not intended for use as a big video card power provider

Other Thoughts: I got this elsewhere with an x-mas gift card I had (15 bucks shipped to my door = I win style) but I do think this is a good ps and would recommend using it in most ITX builds that need a little more power or just want a good power supply in a small pc.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect fit for Silverstone ITX

Pros: -Fits small cases perfectly (cables are short, but this usually works in your favor when in a small case!)
-Very quiet ball bearing fan
-Emits virtually no heat at ~100w load
-Feels solid, no flex or rattles.
-High-efficiency 1-watt Standby works with my Asrock AMD A-series board. Measured with a Kill-a-watt. (It should be noted enabling this in the BIOS, at least on this board, disabled the NIC and USB 3.0 ports in standby mode.) But the power supply does support it and many don't.
-Very inexpensive compared to Seasonic, Silverstone, etc.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I suppose in a larger case the short cables could be an issue, but longer cables can impeed valuable airflow in smaller cases so I believe this power supply was engineered correctly for its target-market.

ATX and 4-pin cables are 12" long to the case of the connector, SATA and Molex connectors come in at 8", 12", 16" in two sets.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good solid case. I like the external reset CMOS button and the WiFi.

Cons: Mine had a bad power supply. Killed two motherboards before I discovered the fault. Major PITA.

5 out of 5 eggslonger cables would be nice

Pros: Nice quiet, small power supply for a htpc with modest demands ( < 100W) in a Sliverstone ML03B case with a microATX board.

Cons: I am accustomed to scrounging space in a case to stuff power cables. Or even cutting off some in order to preserve air flow.
But this is a first.
I needed to buy a 24 pin ATX extension, a 4 pin ATX power extension and a sata power extension!

Other Thoughts: At 300w this is an overkill for me, so I am glad it is certified 80 Plus.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for giving us your feedback. We will take all the recommendations into account.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Power Supply for tight spaces

Pros: I am building a small form-factor computer, SUGO, and this was the only Power supply that would fit given that I wanted to use a very large cooling processor heat sink. With the adapter supplied with the unit, the power supply went in perfectly.

Cons: None.
