5 out of 5 eggsGood looking, reliable,Rock Solid

Pros: I had the privilege of installing 5 of these bad boys, they all installed and no DOA units. The construction of the P/S's are very nice and subtle. Comes with plenty of straps etc for wire management, which is a big plus for an item in this price range.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Buy one you won't regret it, the only thing that would be better than this P/S is if it was modular, other than that these are rock solid.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet. Mostly works.

Cons: Poor match between suppplied power cord and PSU. It felt loose and was accidentally unplugged too easily. Tried several old power cords that I had (I'm a real pack rat) and found one that did fit!

5 out of 5 eggsDo it.

Pros: I bought this PSU probably two years ago to go along with an AMD 6 core PC build. The mobo went south, so I had this sitting most of that time. I had another build with an Asus mobo/CPU combo sitting around with a Diablotek 250W PSU laying around that I decided I'd turn into a crude backup for my server. For the heck of it I put Ubuntu 12.04 on it, and with the Diablotek it took a little over 30W at idle (according to my Kill-A-Watt meter). Then I swaped out PSUs just to see... First thing I thought was that it didn't turn on. It is so quiet! Now it takes just over 20W! 10 watts might not sound like a lot, but it's only using 2/3 of the power! Right now I have an OCZ Agility 3 drive as the boot drive, and I am encrypting 4 WD 2TB green drives simotaniously. With all 5 drives I'm only pulling between 50-60 watts!

Cons: Has high quality Japanese caps, but made in China.

Other Thoughts: If you are like me and have your computer running 24/7/365 - over 5 years that the PSU is warrantied - it will end up saving you more money than a cheap PSU. You usually get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsfantastic so far

Pros: very quiet, not expensive, really nice finish (does not look or feel cheap), comes with all accessories one could possibly need

Cons: not modular

Other Thoughts: i used this in a micro ATX build, really great fit, just wish it didnt have all the connectors it has for a 400w PSU

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The texture of it was really cool very unique ive never seen that on a PS,its Gold rated and i can believe it when its running its not putting out much heat ALSO its very quiet fan inside it

Cons: For this price i couldnt find a con it worked out of the box and im very impressed with this,i will likely buy another

Other Thoughts: when i first got this and put it in i thought it was doa because my computer wouldn't post, but after testing it at work and trying it it was my motherboard(that i got for free from a coworker) so after i used the warranty that was about to expire on it and put the computer back together it clicked on no issue and works really good.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet , styling

Pros: It has a very quiet 120mm fan, active PFC, short cables in braided sleeves, looks very nice and it won't overwhelm a micro-ATX box with excessive wiring.

Cons: It has a short single string of four SATA connectors that are spaced fairly close together so it may not work well if your setup has a SATA optical drive at the top of the case and a SATA hard drive at the very bottom or on the opposite side of the case.

Other Thoughts: Wiring that is shrink tubed and sleeved seems to always be very stiff and puts strain on connectors. The wiring on this PSU is shrink tubed to within about 1 inch of its connectors, which seems fine, but I cut off the shrink tubing for the connector going to my SSD just to make sure it didn't over stress the connector on that particular drive.

4 out of 5 eggsBulky but good

Pros: Super-low noise level

Cons: Not modular, somewhat bulky, vmain oscillates a tiny bit more than I like (that's why I subtracted one egg)

Other Thoughts: Would buy this one again in a heartbeat for any desktop style system

5 out of 5 eggsFine for an HTPC

Pros: Been using it for a year in an HTPC. Has worked perfectly and is dead silent. Is only 5.5 inches deep so will fit well in most cases. No complaints at all.

Cons: None that I have seen.

5 out of 5 eggsPower effecient quiet.

Pros: No issues yet, super quiet, and powers everything well!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I was worried going for a 400watt supply but was pleased in the end. using a hd7700 with AMD 4100fx (overclocked em both) runs fine :D

5 out of 5 eggsHTPC Suitable

Pros: Whisper quiet in a Antec 300 case. No vibration. Solid build. Cables are precisely the correct length; Nice not having to route excess cable out of airflow. 5 months and hundreds of hours of OC'd, 100% quad-CPU encoding. Chose FSP Arum Gold based upon 5 star professional European reviews. Could not be more impressed!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Received my rebate in a month! (more proof - as if any were needed - that Xigmatek rebates are outright fraud)
