1 out of 5 eggsDOA

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: None

Cons: I bought this power supply last July and didn't get to install it until this month. Nothing happened when I tried to power it on. The box says it has a three year warranty. How do I go about getting an RMA?

4 out of 5 eggsThe best I could find

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: Fits well in my micro-atx case along with my 2 optical drives. 450 w power supply. The price wasn't too bad.

Cons: It's not modular. It only has support for 3 sata drives. I was hoping for a fourth. I have 2 optical drives, and I would have loved to have an ssd along with my hard drive.

Other Thoughts: This is the best one I found for my motherboard, and case. I purchased this one in part because it had excellent reviews. I wish I didn't have to compromise on not having an ssd.

5 out of 5 eggsBig power in a small package

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: This is the most powerful micro ATX power supply around. It can power a large GPU like an R9 290X, yet still fit in a tiny HTPC case. If you want big performance in a small box, this is the one to get.

It also comes with a bracket to attach it to full ATX mounts, though I'm not sure why you'd want to do that.

Cons: Not modular. Higher efficiency would be nice.

Other Thoughts: I bought this several years ago when the stock power supply in my HTPC died. Since then, I've installed numerous pieces of hardware in that computer including very big GPUs, and it has no problems running it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: This unit replaces another brand that died from too much current draw (and different mobo than I'm currently using). Size is perfect for small case and voltage has not been an issue. Did not test volts with multimeter, but it is working fine with my Asus Gene VI mobo.

Cons: None as of yet.

Other Thoughts: There are not a lot of options for this size/form factor. Read reviews and purchased with some trepidation (output voltage too high).

I have had no problem to date in my use, though ultimately my needs with this power supply constitute a light duty cycle.

1 out of 5 eggsOver Volt on 5V and 12V

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: Small form factor
reasonable price for a450 watt 80+ Bronze PSU for an entry level build

Cons: ASUS surge protection kept getting tripped right out of the box
Bios says over volt, specifically 5V was 6.36V, 12V was 24.48V
Just a MOBO, HDD, and DVD drive, no discrete video card, no over-clocking. All new equipment.
I called FPS in California - got a message "closed for the holidays"

2 out of 5 eggsSmall, but unreliable

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: The size is perfect, this PS is light weight and great for cramped cases

Cons: I've had endless problems with this power supply, I'm pretty sure it is chewing through my system components one by one. I'll be needing to replace it but it is hard to find a power supply this small.

5 out of 5 eggssurprisingly good

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: Small, powerful, all the connectors i need to power my micro atx motherboard (and full size atx as well it seems) and even pci cards

Cons: none yet, its great!

Other Thoughts: bought it for my micro atx case, but it turns out my micro atx case fits a full size atx power supply. oh well, i'm loving this one!

5 out of 5 eggsNice Micro PSU

This review is from: FSP Group FSP450-60GHS(85)-R 450W Micro ATX12V / SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply with Intel Haswell Ready

Pros: Quiet. Appears to be well constructed

Cons: None noted yet

Other Thoughts: This is the second unit I have purchased. The first was 400 watts and has lasted several years without any problems in a 24/7 HTPC. I was given another low profile Core-2 that had a blown PSU and decided to salvage it back to a Media Player with XBMC. I put this in and it started right up. Installed Ubuntu and XBMC and another TV has full access to my media collection
