2 out of 5 eggs4 months - now dead

Pros: When this unit worked it was quiet, fit the HP Pavilion case well with the included adaptor

Cons: Much like other reviews this PSU has failed with burn marks on the side of the case after only 4 months of use.

For an RMA through the company you must ship it back, wait up to 15 days for repair, and then they will ship you another one, or the repaired unit.

Other Thoughts: Hard to suggest this model given my experience. The RMA process is a pain, and there seems to be enough reports of failures to suggest looking elsewhere.

1 out of 5 eggsditto

Pros: small, relatively quiet

Cons: short life, poou return process

Other Thoughts: I bought one of these power supplies back in March of this year and now, 8 months later, it's sitting dead on my desk with a scorch mark on the side where something blew. Also, the return process to the manufacturer is cumbersome and slow at best. I'll just buy another brand and write this one off.

1 out of 5 eggswhat they already said

Pros: small enough to fit matx cases. price.

Cons: power fault/failure within three (3) months; unacceptable life. Newegg doesn't offer a warranty on this, you must go through Fortron; annoying.

Other Thoughts: pretty much what almost every other reviewer said: YMMV and buy this ps at your own risk. Wouldn't recommend at ALL. Newegg should offer some quality MicroATX power supplies because there IS obviously a need for them.

1 out of 5 eggsunreliable

Pros: Small, quiet, doesn't get too hot.

Cons: I bought 4 of these half a year ago, and two have already burned out.

Other Thoughts: Just not reliable enough - I'm now replacing all 4 with a different brand to protect the other electronics in my cluster.

1 out of 5 eggsDIED After 8 months - Consider another make

Pros: Fit my Soltek Qbic case very well.

Cons: Died after only 8 months. Completely unnacceptable length of service. Thank goodness I kept the stock Soltek 250W PS to keep me going.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from the stock 250W Soltek PS after concerns that it would not hold up with my full size eVga 5600 AGP card, 2 hard drives, 16X DVD Burner, Card Reader, etc. It actually ran with the original 250W PS just fine for over a year. This seems to be a situation where if it isn't broken, don't fix it. However I will continue to keep a compatable backup power supply on hand, this being the component that most often fails in any computer I've serviced. I'll update this post after I see how well customer support handles an RMA request.

4 out of 5 eggsHigh watts for a micro

Pros: High watts for a micro PSU. Has plenty of connectors, especially for what can be put into a micro-ATX case.

Cons: Not sure about reliability after my first one was deffective. But I'm hopeful.

Other Thoughts: After barely over 3 months, this PSU let off a popping sound with a slight burning smell. I was in the room when it happened. After that, it no longer worked. I use it on a HTPC which stays on 24/7. To Newegg's credit, they allowed me to ship it back (at my expense) and provided a replacement. I've been using the replacement a month or so and it seems to be fine.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Pros: Perfect fit! I was about to throw away an old eMachines case when I ran across this as a PS -- it fits pefectly, and everything works fine. My motherboard had a 20 (not 24-pin) power connector, and after working on it for a minute, the connector gracefully seperated into a 20-pin and a seperate 4-pin piece. I've give them an extra star for that, I was so surprised.

Cons: This sentence no verb.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Pretty good, needed to replace the six year old HP PSU (It still worked fine but had trouble running the new P4 I put in it), this one helped with the frequent freezing I had to deal with....

Cons: None so far....

Other Thoughts: Will be getting another for my next MicroATX build...

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the money

Pros: Works well powering my computer with a 7900xt video card. I was a little worried since this is a micro ATX box.

Cons: not sexy

Other Thoughts: EVGA says you should have 400 watts and I can tell you this will power a 7900GT no problems with a 20% overclock on the chip.
