3 out of 5 eggsNever used it, no cables included

Pros: I thought this was a kvm switch at first, but it was actually i multi monitor splitter. i would have fpound a use for it, if it had included cables. still have to find a KVM

Cons: no cables included

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: Have had no problems with image or movie quality like other people seem to have had. Couldn't be easier to setup. No Software was needed.

Cons: I sell systems for a living, and some of the computers I have built with a high-end graphics card installed didn't quite get along with this splitter. They would boot up in a 8-bit color mode and the only way you could get it to work was hook the switch up after booting up the computer. I only had this problem with select high end graphics card. Little irratated but at least there was a way around it.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work as advertised

Comments: For my office setup, I had to have my dual monitors at a distance from where the computer sat. Because of this, I had to get some VGA extension cables (15 ft) for both monitors. When I plugged them in, I had significant ghosting due to signal degredation. (plugging the monitors directly to the computer without extension cables was fine. I purchased from newegg the cheapest VGA video splitter. It was a 250 Mhz advertised splitter/booster but when I got it, it was marked as only 200Mhz. No matter, it worked just fine with only a barely noticeable ghosting. I purposely didn't get two because I wanted to see how this one worked. I decided to get a 350Mhz as this Linkskey. Recieved it today and I'm not sure if I got a faulty unit (i can't imagine that being it's a simple device) but the image barely improved. In fact, I wasn't sure if it had improved anything, but it has,...barely. I'm going to return this and get another one of the cheap ones since it actually works better.
