worthless unit
- Pros: If it works... IF... then it would be cool
- Cons: Hooking up a modern wired keyboard and a modern wired mouse seems to be too much for this unit... it fails constantly! After a power failure it needs up to an hour to re-connect
- Other Thoughts: Replaced it twice in a year because it got somehow 'cooked' and one of the two units internal electronics burnt out (although hooked up 24h onto a stable UPS) - replacement by IOGEAR lasts 4-6 weeks after a lengthy RMA process. Bottom line: DO NOT buy this! Period
Great, not perfect
- Pros: Their trim, highly effective units and do exactly what they're designed for... extending keyboard, video and mouse (K-V-M).
- Cons: Doesn't support any non-standard controllers, like a touchscreen (mouse emulation), palette (CAD), etc.
- Other Thoughts: Would also like it if this extended other USB devices like an external HDD, USB print server, web camera, card reader, etc.
