The GWC SS2115 2-port manual share switch is designed to share one USB device between multiple computers. With its two upstream USB ports and one downstream USB port, you can share your USB device between two computers. And a device can be assigned to a computer by simply pressing the port select button. This share switch eliminates the hassle of cable swapping and possible confusion, delivering an easy, convenient solution for sharing devices.

Two Computers Share One USB Device Featuring two upstream USB ports and one downstream USB port, the GWC SS2115 allows you to share one USB peripheral between computers. And the device can switch just by the press of Port Select Button.
USB 2.0 Interface The USB 2.0 interface enables high data transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps so you save time while copying or moving data. This device is also backwards compatible with USB Revision 1.1 products.

Cons: The blaring green light of doom on it will come for you at night, be warned. It also takes about 5 seconds for the switch to happen after you press the button, not 1 second. Cons: Doesn't work with a Canon Lide 110 Scanner. It does work with a USB keyboard and mouse, however to switch to the other computer is pretty slow, takes about five seconds. Automatic would be nice... but... Other Thoughts: I had read the IOMEGA automatic USB switch for printers would work to share a USB scanner, it didn't. It works perfect. I can shut one PC off, press the switching button and turn the other PC on and everything works (I only have one monitor, so have to shut down.)
